Maybe they’re just caking it on, I don’t know. I applied a thin layer and let it have plenty of time to glaze up, had to use some pretty good pressure to get it off in some areas but no biggy. Yet, I came into some legal money, I felt I was ready to drive again and therefore bought a beautiful Ford Mustang GT! Thus, this product "CAPITALIZED" supremely upon my desire to "PROTECT" and/or "SHIELD" the golden investment against the harsh rays of our sun (I LIVE IN TUCSON, AZ)!!! This wax is amazing! It smells like fresh cherries, goes on smoothly, without lumps, and applies easily. My only complaint is the opening to dispense it is too narrow which makes it difficult to squeeze out of the container. I had to use both hands to get the wax out. That being said, the shine is remarkable and the water just beads off of it. It's an excellent product!
