I was looking for a more compact vacuum sealer for my older food saver vac when I came across the Megawise sealer and thought I would give it a try and was not disappointed. I did some steaks and other items and it preformed as advertised and I like the size of it too. I also like the fact I can use the bags from my other vac which is a plus. And the best part for me is that I can put it in a drawer for storage. I would recommend the Megawise to anyone looking for a compact sealer at a reasonable price. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Overall happy with the sealer, I got it on sale for around 25 dollars and I think that's a good price for this unit. It's easy to use and I've used it about 10 times now. Seems to do a pretty good job although there is a bit of air still left when sealing chicken or steak, I'm still getting a touch of freezer burn but it's definitely better than plastic bags. The built in cutter is nice and works well if you want to use rolls instead of bags you can make your own size. The device is nice and compact which is good for storing it, although it might be nice to have one a bit larger to use with larger bags. It doesn't look like 11inch would work with this. It seems durable enough and hopefully will last a while, I will update if it ends up breaking or stops working. ... show more

Made freezing leftovers easy. Great quality and durable. Sizable storage. I'm saving money buying larger portions and using this to protect my food. Food is expensive. I value what I have. Save leftovers, even snacks and candy for the kids. Love the settings and easy to use. Cutter is super handy. This has saved me so much money. Seals or vacuums dry and moist foods. Just after a year the automatic function stopped and it continues to run the pump and not stop and seal the bag. Now I have to do it manually then press seal. For the money it’s ok. I mainly use it for avocados.
