I love that these are made specifically for XBOX. I have never had an issue with these Turtle Beach headsets, besides of course, they don't last forever because of normal wear and tear, and I do occasionally have to replace them. This is the fourth headset I've purchased. The headsets I've replaced were because one, the charging port eventually broke and no longer would charge. Another headset, the mic cut in and out, I did have it for two years and that was the first problem I had with it. A third headset, I broke the earpiece completely off of the headset, but that was my fault, and it actually held up really well because it only broke after I dropped and tore at it several hundred times. This headset does use a dongle which I don't normally like, but it connected without any problems so I was fine with it. The sound is great as always, and I love that I can hear how much noise I am making and whether or not people can hear the sounds other people in my house are making when I'm using my mic. I also love being able to adjust the sound of the game and the people I'm playing with separately without going into my settings. Just roll a dial and you are all set. Do keep in mind that it can be painful on your ears after several hours. Otherwise, I would recommend this headset and I would purchase it again without any qualms. ... show more

I think this headset was definitely worth the higher price tag. It's very comfortable, the ear pads fit completely around my ears without crushing them. I tend to charge frequently so I'm not sure how long the battery will go but it's had no problems going multiple days without charging. As far as connection, it's stable and reliable, no complaints there. However, I'm playing on PC and the USB dongle is pretty big, when on my laptop I do have to be cautious not to drop anything on it and snap it, probably better suited for a stationary PC/console but I'm still very happy with the headset itself. There isn't any RGB to deal with and the design doesn't look too edgy, I would consider wearing these in public if my earbuds broke or something, which I'd normally never consider with most gaming headsets. The best feature is the flip-to-mute microphone. It folds into the earphone body and stays securely but is also easy to flip out to talk. Sometimes you need to mute quickly and don't want to fumble around with tiny buttons that you can't see so flipping the microphone back up takes a split second and also makes a little sound to confirm you're muted. I can't imagine not having this feature on a headset now. Sounds quality is solid, you can definitely feel the depth in music and sound effects. Volume is good, there is also a separate volume scroller for the microphone. I haven't pushed the range but it's great up to 15 feet or so. Overall a great headset I'd say is worth the price due to the flip-to-mute microphone alone. The build quality is there, nothing feels cheap or flimsy, they definitely feel premium when you hold them. I do wish the USB dongle was a little more compact but that's the only negative at all. Bought these to replace my corded headphones that broke and was super impressed with the sound. The mic is super sensitive and I have to have it turned up to work with discord so it picks up a lot but it works and is durable. I use speakers when I'm just solo gaming on my PC or watching something or working on D&D so they don't get used a whole lot so the battery lasts forever (I've had them a whole and charged them once since the initial charge). Last long sound great issue in design ! Both sides broke in half ! I had to glue and duct tape both sides and I am a adult I treat things nice ! So that is annoying one broke while on my head so figure that out !

I've had these for a couple months now and use about an hour every day. I have only had to charge it ONE time so far (and it continued to work when wired up to charge). Amazing battery life. They're fairly comfortable, work well under Linux. The mic monitoring feature is Turtle Beach's differentiator and I'm glad to have it, although it picks up a bit more white noise than I would like. Seems like my old wired Turtle Beach headset had better filtering on the mic monitor. There is no noticeable latency; I can play a digital piano just fine - an impossible feat with higher latency Bluetooth speakers. Sound quality for voice and music seems fine, but I'm no audiophile. The audio profile switching button (that I never use) is slightly proud and the power button is slightly recessed, I wish that was reversed. These headphones are very good with gaming. Sounds pick up everything. They actually fit quit comfortably on your head too. But… these are my second time ordering the headphones. The first time the broke in the top left ear part. I thought they were just old because I got them from a pawn shop. I liked them so much I ordered this one off Amazon. Sadly. In the same time I had the first pair, the second pair broke in the same exact spot too. THE SAME EXACT SPOT! They barely lasted me a month before POP These headphones are really good if you don’t have a lot of hair or don’t plan on stretching them out to put on your head. I honestly like the quality of the headphones. They sound really good. BUT REALLY? For this price I would think they quality of MATERIAL will match the quality of the audio. I went to Walmart. Ironically I seen the same exact headphones with the same exact breakage in the left ear. If your weary of getting headphones that aren’t bungee, bouncy, or flexible, These are not the headphones for you. These headphones are for lil head people who want to feel like they’re flying a jet with tight “stealth” like aerodynamics. Sadly I’m pretty sure if you pull them apart in ANY SLIGHTEST way.
