11/30/2020 Update - Amazon let me exchange this with a new one and I've had zero issues so far. It actually supplies a lot of heat. I prefer using it over the gas heat in my apartment because I have no control over the gas heater - it's either on or off and gets too stuff to use for more than 30-45 minutes. I also dig the cozy look of the fire - I've gotten a lot of compliments on it! I just had this delivered today - and it looks great! Except...no heat will blow out. I've contacted the manufacturer, so hopefully I will get some resolution (otherwise I will exchange - I read the reviews and it seems like most people have had no issues). One thing that sucks is you can only contact the manufacturer through email - try as I might, I could not find a phone number and they had no chat box. I'm hoping they reply to my message at all. There are certain things you must do to make sure it works - but it's still failing for me. I've reset by unplugging with the switch off, I've made sure it's the only appliance on the outlet, and the outlet I'm using meets all the requirements. I thought I felt it blow hot air when i first turned it on - but since then, nada.

The media could not be loaded. I've owned this little electric fireplace for a year now and I LOVE IT! I purchased the 25" Freestanding Stove to put in our en suite master bath for 1.) An extra heat source on those super cold mornings and 2.) Because of the ambiance that it brings to the space! I read a ton of reviews and watched videos to see the flame in action before picking one and and very happy with my purchase. I love that the unit does not get hot anywhere except the bottom where it says "caution hot" so we can safely use it around our pets and use the top of it for some extra storage of a plant or tissues in the bathroom. I love that it comes with a remote. I've never had an issue with it and only use the remote to turn it on and off. If you lose your remote, don't fret! There are buttons just inside the door to turn it on and adjust the settings. There are different heat settings available: you can adjust the temp as needed, you can set it on a timer and you can even adjust the brightness of the flame. It plugs into a standard outlet easy peasy, no special wiring needed. It arrived with only its legs needing to be attached. It was very easy to assemble and move around as needed. (It's quite light!) I don't have any negative points about this fireplace and would 110% recommend it to a friend!

Bought this when the upstairs HVAC died mid-December and had to wait longer than hoped for service due to the holidays so bought this to supplement the little heat that rose from the main floor until the main system could be fixed. It worked great, right out of the box and the fireplace design is a bit more attractive than the usual portable heater look. It is small, but put out enough heat for the ~500 sqft area upstairs. Only two very minor issues: 1) a small piece of plastic had broken off the door but since it was on the bottom side, hidden, and we we needed the heater right away, I didn't bother returning it. 2) I didn't realize at purchase that the heat comes out from below the main part of the design so it looks a little less sleek than if it came from the "flames" (the picture is pretty accurate - I just didn't realize the implication). The upside is that the main part of the heater stays plenty cool to the touch rather than heating up so I think the functionality of it definitely outweighs the slight detraction from the aesthetic. We have moved the heater down to the basement now and the dogs love it. It is very conveniently sized and fits easily in small spots, out the way.

So glad I got this!! The TS20 (medium size of the three electric stoves) is super cute, the fake flames look very similar to a gas stove, creating a very cozy atmosphere, and it puts out a good amount of heat. My pets have been fighting over who gets to sit in front of the heater, and they pout when I turn it off at night. Great if you're renting or in an apartment and long for the look and feel of a fireplace or gas stove, and if you're ever lucky enough to move into a place with a fireplace this is the perfect small size for a bedroom. Other reviewers said the legs were hard to put on...yeah, sort of, it takes a few good firm wrenching turns to get the screws started and it's a bit cramped, I didn't bother with the center screws, but it's worth the slightly annoying 5 minutes for assembly.

The heat output on this is good. It is thermostaticly controlled, so can adjust and will do its thing or turn all the way up. Blows hot air out the bottom, stays cool to touch on all sides. Love that you can turn off heat and just watch the "fire". You open the door and the controls are on the right side. The max is 1400 watts, so saving on electricity too, not having to keep it on at all times. Of course the bigger the area the longer it takes. Or if open door and its freezing outside will take time to recover. Overall good little "fireplace".

We rent and my daughter bedroom is in the partially finished basement. No heating vent is in her room. Her room does not reach above 60 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter months. Invested in this because it mentioned protection from overheating risk which I was very worried about. It was much more expensive and only good reviews back then. Daughter refused to sleep in her cold room so it was a needed purchase. This was our first time ever owning a heater because I’m terrified of having a fire. First winter made our electricity rates double! Noticed the cord would be warm when on which worried me so instructed daughter to keep an eye on it. The plug it was plugged into was new and has been inspected and is functioning fine yet this heater started melting the plate!!! Very dangerous! Now I am blamed for this by our housing authority and landlord. Do not buy!!
