Features

  • Upgraded Design: The TS17Q is slimmer, lighter, and still has 4 support legs for stability and more portability so you can move and place it anywhere in your home. With the modern 3-sided view design, you can enjoy the vivid flame effect in a wider field of view.

  • Easy to Use: Simply flip the switch to turn on the heating element, turn the knob to your desired temperature, and your room will start heating up in seconds. Infrared heating starts warming up your room instantly without producing smoke and ash, and loss less moisture.
  • Safe to Touch: The heating element is located on the bottom so the body of the stove is always cool to the touch, no matter how long it has been running.
  • Dual Overheat Protection: Automatically shuts the heater off when it gets too hot. Also built-in a safety fuse to protect from overload heat. The TURBRO Suburbs heater is CSA certified to be safe for use in North America.

  • Nice little heater
I was hesitant in buying since not that many reviews. I’m impressed that something so small can put out a lot of heat. I really like the fireplace effect. It’s small but really nice looking. I wish it came with a remote but I’m planning on using a smart plug so I can turn it on and off at least.

  • Just as advertised.
Received in record time (one day) delivery. Legs went on in minutes. Used twice with heat so far and works great. Hope it will continue. Flame is perfect and small size was as expected. Very nice.

  • Nice electric fireplace
This electric fireplace is a smaller size. The heat works good and it is a pretty descent quality. The fireplace looks amazing when turned on. The screws to put the legs on were horrible to get in and some wouldn't screw in all the way no matter how hard I tried. So the legs aren't the most stable. Overall this fireplace will be very nice on cold fall days or in the winter. ... show more

  • *Nice little heater with really cool flame effect!*
This is a nice small size if you don't have a lot of extra space, but need some extra heat added to a room occasionally! It isn't cold enough yet for us to be using the heating part of it, but I turned the heat on to make sure it worked & it does, & you can adjust the temperature of the heat coming out of it to be warmer or hotter heat. It puts out a decent amount of heat for how small it is! We especially like the "fake fire effect" feature of it! I've always wanted one of these "fake fire/flame effect" heaters! And we enjoy having fire light turned on without the heat being on, so I'm really glad you can turn on the light of the fire WITHOUT using the heat! It really looks cool with how the light "dances" like the flames of a fire! It's neat to watch & creates a homey, warm ambiance to any room, which is great especially around holiday time & when you have guests over! It was easy to put together...all you have to do is screw the 4 plastic legs onto the bottom of it, which all screwed on easily & with no problems. (You'll need to have your own Phillips head screwdriver...one isn't included.) While the legs are plastic, they seem sturdy enough & the heater itself is very lightweight & doesn't weigh much anyways to be putting any real "strain" onto the legs of it. It came packaged well for being shipped securely in the mail...it's encased in styrofoam to protect it. My only complaints are that it would be nice if you could use the heating part of it without the flames being turned on, if you didn't want to have the flames on while using the heat. But you have to turn on the flames if you want the heating feature to turn on. And on the last page of the instructions it warned about "washing your hands" "after installation" of it since it has "DEHP" in it which is a phthalate that may "cause cancer or harm developmental growth." Since my son wanted to "help" put the legs on it & was touching the heater, you can imagine my concern upon reading this in the instructions...so we did wash our hands after putting it together & I didn't let him touch the cord of it since I figured that was where the "DEHP" in it was, since the rest of it is just mostly metal... So I looked up DEHP online & it's a "plasticizer" in plastics, tubing, etc to make them "flexible" so yeah, I'm figuring the DEHP is in the cord of the heater that you plug into the wall. So my suggestion is once it's plugged in, let everyone in your home know to just leave the cord alone unless you have to move the heater. I made sure my cord is wrapped up & tied together with the twisty tie it came with & I have it tucked behind/under the heater, so it isn't out for anyone to be accidentally touching it for any reason & so I don't have to move the cord when vacuuming, etc. I'm glad they were honest & put that safety warning/precaution in the instructions so that you don't have yourself or your children needlessly touching the cord when you really don't have to be, etc. The heater comes with a list of safety precautions in the instructions booklet, most of which you'd expect & are common sense...it says NOT to use this heater with ANY extension cords whatsoever...to ONLY use the plug that it came with & to not have anything fabric close in front of where the heater puts out the hot air. Obviously you wouldn't want to have it blowing hot air right up against a couch, blanket, curtains, clothes, papers, etc...just to be safe. So read through the safety suggestions & just use common sense when operating it & where you choose to place it in your home. :) The outside of it isn't supposed to get hot, so you don't have to worry about that if anyone touches the outside of it. It's also supposed to automatically shut off if for any reason the heater gets too hot. So that's good to know if you'd happen to fall asleep with it on. But I personally wouldn't trust sleeping with any electric heater on, just in case. It's always wise to have them shut off when you aren't home or are asleep, or if you won't be in that particular room for some time. It says in the instruction booklet that it has a 1-year warranty. It says not to use it outdoors, but I'm sure it would probably be fine to use it on a porch for a few hours if you were sitting outside with friends/family & wanted some heat on your feet & have an outdoor outlet! :) I'm hoping this is something we get to enjoy for a long time & once the lights in the fire part of it burn out, I'm hoping I can find a way to replace them easily enough so we can keep enjoying the fire effect of it for years to come! :D ... show more
