Description

Since 2013, TURBRO has created innovative products that help people improve the comfort of their homes. A comfortable home is a happy home. Whether you rent or own, you should have a comfortable place to call home. We are constantly looking for new ways to help you be more comfortable at home and look forward to sharing these innovations with you. At the end of the day, the thing we care about most is your comfort and contentment. What's the difference between automatic and manual egg turning? Manual turning cannot simulate natural incubation well, which may cause uneven heating and embryo sticking. It is also easy to forget to record the incubation days. Automatic turning handles the entire process and improves the hatching success rate. Where is the best place to put the incubator? Will it work in my home? Despite the incubator maintaining internal stability, keep it in a stable room temperature (74-80°F is ideal), and avoid cold floors and drafts. Save the packaging foam! If the room temp drops below 68°F, wrap it around the unit for insulation. How long does it take for the eggs to hatch? Reference durations: Quail 18 days, Chicken 21 days, Duck 28 days, Goose 30 days. Actual duration depends on egg type, temperature, and humidity. Results may vary, so research or consult experienced breeders beforehand. Can I hatch different types and sizes of eggs together? The egg tray can fit different egg sizes. However, we don't recommend hatching different species at a time because they need different incubation times, temperatures, and humidity levels. How often do I need to add water? The water bottles we provide are transparent for easy water level checks. During daily use, monitor the water level to avoid it running too low. We recommend refilling it every three days, adjusting based on your actual usage conditions.

Size: ProHatch 24
Great incubator! It was very easy to use, and the automatic egg-turning feature worked perfectly. We had a successful hatch and got beautiful, healthy chicks! 🐣 The kids absolutely loved watching the whole process from eggs to baby chicks. • Great product, awesome hatch rate
Size: ProHatch 24
Worked well other than having to keep an eye on the humidity and manually adding water to adjust. It says it will hold 24 chicken eggs which is true if you are hatching bantam chicken eggs that are small eggs, only held 18 medium eggs but I hatched 17 of the 18 eggs, the one egg was not fertile when candled on day 14. ... show more

  • Egg Incubator
Size: ProHatch 24
I am absolutely love this egg incubator. I actually was in the middle of incubating eggs with my old incubator and since this arrived on the day that I was transitioning to lock down I decided to move my eggs to this incubator to test them out for a more accurate review. This is a huge improvement from the incubator I was using and provide so much room for more eggs than I was previously able to incubate at a time. The spacers for the egg roller allow for so many different size and types of eggs to be used. Having quail and chicken I can safely say that this is perfect for both and there would be no wasted room in filling it with either. As I was going on lockdown I did not test the egg rocking feature although I did make sure that it had that when I got this incubator. And the way it sets up is a round piece is on the inside of the lid that lines up with the hole slot on the edge of the rocker. As long as the rocker is between its guides at the top and bottom this disc attachment will move it back and forth by about an inch and a half . The time for the movement is customizable with the interface on the lid. This interface can be changed between imperial and metric. It allows you to change the temperature down to the 10th of a degree. It also indicates current humidity and the day that you're on for your hatch. My only complaint is that the egg candling light is not strong enough to actually see through the shell however I find that to be the case with most incubators and do firmly believe in getting a specific egg candling flashlight to effectively candle eggs. The egg shown in the fourth picture has been canceled and does have a chick growing in it but that is not visible with this light alone. I chose to keep the incubator in the styrofoam used for shipping as it is a perfect fit and allows for the use of the important features while still in the styrofoam like adding water and accessing the buttons on the top as well as a safe place for the power cable to come out of. I chose to do this as it insulates better and requires less energy to maintain the proper temperature. This is optional but helpful in my experience. I really like that this has a clear top so that as hatching is occurring you are able to see your chicks coming out without having to open the incubator and risk shrink-wrapping the checks unless immediate intervention is absolutely necessary. The water bottles are super easy to use and a great feature to keep humidity at the right level without having to open the incubator. This is a fantastic incubator well worth the cost that heats up quickly and maintains humidity with small humidity controls on the lid as well. I absolutely recommend this incubator and I'm fully confident and its ability to hatch my eggs. ... show more

  • Worked Perfectly for Hatching Duck Eggs
Size: ProHatch 24
We already had an incubator for regular chicken eggs, but we wanted something a little bigger for duck or goose eggs. A neighbor gave us three duck eggs, so we tried them in this incubator, and it fit them really well. Surprisingly enough, all three hatched, so now we have three little ducklings running around. I have used incubators before, so I already knew the basic idea, but this one made the process pretty easy. I liked being able to set the timer and let it do its thing, and the built-in light was really handy for checking on the eggs as they developed. It also did a good job keeping the eggs turned and the humidity where it needed to be. Overall, I am really happy with it. It worked exactly how we needed it to, handled the larger duck eggs well, and all three eggs hatched successfully. Hard to complain about that. ... show more

  • Decent incubator with a poor manual
Size: ProHatch 24
I hatch out baby chicks and ducklings each spring, so I have a bit of experience with consumer-grade incubators. If your hatching needs are modest (like mine are), these small incubators are completely adequate. I have several kinds, some better than others. This incubator appears to be about average in build quality, but does have a couple of points I'm not very happy with. The assembly instructions are sketchy to say the least. For example, there is no mention that I could find about installing the disk that drives the egg turner. Since I've had several such incubators over the years, I knew immediately that this needed to be installed and how to do it. Someone who has never used this style of incubator may spend some time head scratching before figuring this out. The printed instructions on the lid of the unit itself are virtually impossible to read. The lid is orange and the instructions are printed in white and in a very small font. A magnifying glass is necessary to make them out. The water bottles that are used to establish the proper humidity during the incubation cycle are rather loose in their ports. Since this is the wrong time of year to hatch out chicks (for me, anyway), I'm not going to test this to see if the water leaks. I'll have to wait until spring to see what the situation is. Assuming that they do not leak, this is a pretty typical means of providing humidity control to an incubator, so I expect it will work fine. The rest of the incubator seems fine - temperature and duration settings are easy to get to, but I was a bit surprised to read in the manual that the egg rotation stops 4 days before the end of the incubation cycle. The other incubators I own all stop rotating the eggs 3 days before the end of the cycle. I don't expect that this difference will matter much. The egg rolling mechanism is easy to adjust for different sizes and number of eggs. I would suggest leaving a bit of "wiggle room" for the eggs. If you place the dividers too close together, they will likely slide the eggs instead of rolling them - so make sure the eggs are a little loose between the dividers. This incubator is priced pretty well for a unit that can hold 24 chicken eggs. As such, coupled with the reasonable quality of the unit, this represents a pretty good value for money. ... show more

  • Worked just as expected, keep the packing foam!
Size: ProHatch 24
The TURBRO incubator made the experience of hatching pheasant eggs exciting and fun to watch. It was easy to program in the desired settings for temperature and humidity. I was able to set it to turn the eggs 6 times per day, which is adequate for pheasant eggs. The instruction book did not list the specific settings for pheasants but I was able to easily find the information online. The separate water reservoirs made it easy to adjust the humidity for the initial and pre-hatching settings, although it did run a little higher than we wanted during the initial incubating period. We had to slip a tiny spacer between the lid and base to lower the humidity some of the days. We didn't have much luck "candling" the eggs but we really didn't know what we were looking for, so we just left them all in there. The only thing that I feel could improve this incubator is adding handles or some kind of indention on the dome lid. It's very smooth and difficult to hold onto when lifting off the lid. One thing to be aware of if you purchase this incubator -- be sure to save the foam packing material because you will need it if your room temperature gets too low during the evening, which is what happened to us. This is explained in the instruction manual, which we fortunately read before we disposed of the foam. ... show more

  • Nice incubator, but overpriced.
Size: ProHatch 24
This 24-egg incubator has the best mix of features I've seen so far. It keeps all the practical controls (temperature, humidity, and automatic egg turning) without any of the annoying or overly sensitive extras. The size is perfect, with two vents and dual water bottles that keep humidity steady. The tray design makes loading eggs easy, and the bottom is fully washable while the top holds all the motor parts cleanly. It has a built-in day counter to track incubation progress, so there's no need to keep notes on a calendar. The built-in candling light is also much better than others I've tried - well sealed so the beam focuses through the egg without leaking around it, giving a clear view inside. Everything runs steady and smooth, but the price is NOT very competitive compared to others I've used. One thing you might want to do if you get this or other Incubators. Most (if not all) of this style incubator come packaged in a foam container. Resist the temptation to throw this foam away. If you use this foam while you are incubating, it will keep your temperature much more constant. Just a tip from somebody thats been around the egg incubation block a time or three. When this first arrived I did my typical initial inspection and didn't find any leftover manufacturing process substances such as excessive plastic shavings, rough edges, blemishes or other defects that would render this unusable or unsafe to use. At this price point (~$80), I believe this is overpriced. Several other competitors appear to have the same item for ~$25-50. Would I order this again? Probably not, primarily due to the price. Hope this helps. ... show more
