Revised review. They shipped it in its original box so box is not something a collector would be happy with. INSTRUCTIONS ARE WRONG AND INCOMPLETE. I got it together and then I see board 9 which is not in the instructions except the parts list and had o figure out where it went and partially pull it apart, after all that I turned it on and played Centipede and WOW it’s awesome. millipede and Centipede with that trackball are great. So even with the hassles and the box shipping label being slapped on the front of the artwork on the box and the box being damaged in transit the game is just great. I wish Tempests spinner and Vector graphics worked as well. So happy with this despite the unforgivable mistake in the manual. Much faster to put together after you make a couple, ... show more

Purchased Tempest machine. Controls did not work on two games and barely worked on Tempest. Returned machine and was told I would have to pay a restocking fee even though I received the machine broken. Item description clearly states free returns. Seller does not back their product and keeps making vague excuses about restock policy that shouldn’t apply to a product that was shipped with a malfunctioning control panel. The games packaged in with machine also don’t make sense as some of them either use trackball controls or lever controls. Do not waste your money. Bottom line, Wrestlefest made me smile! I’ve wanted this game in an arcade form factor for a long time. Negatives- price at 199 is too high for this (I think 149 would have been the sweet spot), the missing characters from the original game, no marquee light, no protective clear plastic over the control area, having to assemble the counter cade (arcade1up counter cades come assembled out of the box), and the short return window. This is a Christmas gift and they don’t have the holiday return window, so make sure you assemble it early and before gifting. Positives- it looks the part when put together, audio was solid, mine had the run control (pressing both blue buttons) working, and as I said at the beginning, it made me smile. ... show more

First, know yours building it from the frame up. It’s well made and easy to put together but it will take about 30 mins. Also, can’t figure out how to get to the Home Screen after you play a game and want to switch. Some buttons don’t work. My old Boss Liked it, it was a gift for him. while i did put it together, and it was missing a few screws for the screen, it seems that it is able to sit on the wooden lips for the time being, Otherwise from what i've been told it was good for him and his 6 kids living at home

Great appearance and function, with the spinner loose, but not uncontrollable. Each game fits a vertical screen, even if they were originally horizontal games. For vector games, this is less noticeable. To save high scores, make sure to exit to the home screen first, or the score will not be recorded. It was a snap to put together, and each panel is individually protected by plastic for shipping. Sound is not direct, but it can get loud enough, and is game accurate. The screen has nice contrast and is much better than some other screens in small units. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and look forward to future titles. ... show more
