Not happy with Amazon but the supplier did assist with our issue. The unit started to make odd noises (we wanted to return it) and Amazon only gave us credit for 80% or 20% restocking fee which I find unacceptable when this unit didn't last 5 months. Amazon also said it would cover the shipping cost however, the UPS driver wouldn't accept it so that was another $40.00 to ship. Feel like we got totally ripped off. It took a few days but the supplier did give us a $40.00 off gift card on a new one so they did come through. UPDATE - This fireplace is not even 12 months old. We purchased it in November of 2022. It's absolutely beautiful and we use it daily in the winter. It started making an odd noise and now we cannot have the heater on. It's making funky noises and you just can't run the heater any longer without a constant annoying noise. Calling Amazon to get my money back or the item replaced. Couldn't be more disappointed. *** UPDATE This fireplace is the single best purchase of the year for us (we've had it approximately a week). FYI The fireplace is not as bright as the picture by the way (but is perfect). The colors are wonderful and the heating unit is even better. It's so quiet & functional compared to our last one. When I'm the other room - I hear a faint click and then it warms the room wonderfully and in a short amount of time. What a buy! If you are on the fence or hesitating on purchasing - just do it. You won't regret it. We also love the fact that it has 3 glass sides/3D effect and it also really dressed up our 4 season room/porch compared to the last one. Great product! This fireplace is not only beautiful but a very good room addition and heating option. This fireplace is the bomb! We bought it to replace a smaller one and this is definitely a 10 out of 10. I'd buy another one but don't have any room to put it. This heats the room literally in a matter of minutes. Beautiful design - nice colors. The heating element is very quiet. The logs are very realistic. If I had to find a flaw - which it really isn't one - the back wall "brick design" is a little bit cheap looking. Had that been upgraded to a more realistic brick - this fireplace is as close to a real one as you can get. Still not a problem - we are in love with this fireplace! It's versatile, convenient, warm, classy looking and even comes with a remote. Can't go wrong!

The media could not be loaded. I bought the Modern Ember 3 side unit and had to return it. The top was hot to the touch and thermostat would not turn off. Replaced with the Turbo FL27. Working great and set flames to cycle which is pretty cool. Sound of crackle is ok. The ad doesn’t mention that this is a smart unit. Well that is what I received and it is nice to run the app on the phone. Also Turbrogives you an extra free 1yr warranty = 2 yrs total when you register your unit online at Turbro. I purchased the Amazon Very Good. It said it was new but slight package damage. I didn’t see any package damage. 3 sided with nice wood frame. Works for me!

Original review: (see update below) The good news is, the heater is attractive and I get heat. But that's the only thing that works properly. The temperature control does not work as documented. I get no temperature read out at all. The up/down controls on the remote do nothing. I get no flames at all. The flame buttons toggle through the flame choices but at no point in time do I get flames. I'm in contact with tech support but the process is annoying. I sent them the invoice, a picture of the serial number on the back and a picture with the flame choice lit and no flames visible. They keep asking for a video. What will a video show that the picture does not? I'm very disappointed. So I have an update: I contacted the company and they sent me a new heater. This one works. I'm pleased with the heat output and the flame pattern is fun. The only criticism I still have is the temperature control - basically, there is none. It tells me it's on but I don't get an actual temperature reading. I'll live with it.

I really like this item. It has a powerful heat and it looks elegant. I also like that it has different light colors. The timer is awesome. The control of temperature level is not so easy. I still don’t get so well how to do it. But I have been able to adjust it after trying several ways with the remote. The fire effect it’s not so real, but it is fun. The size is large enough to mark a presence, but small enough to be able to move it around. I appreciate to be able to move the heat (or flames) with me. For the price, and in comparison with others I tried, this one it really worth it if you are looking for something that actually do provide some heat and look beautiful. I recommend it.
