Works great. I bought this unit on sale and installed it in my garage. It does require a vacuum pump to install. I would also recommend a flaring tool if you want to cut your refrigerant lines to the appropriate size for your application. I also used a torque wrench and nilog blue. So far working great with no issues. Check your shrader valve stems for tightness, one of mine was loose. I quickly fixed that with minimal refrigerant loss. 19 seer2 is ok but there are more efficient models for sale, but I bought this Black Friday and took it home after tax for under $580 so for that price 19 seer2 is good enough for me. My garage is roughly 750 square foot, and is insulated. I couldn’t be happier with its function in there. If you need to bend your refrigerant lines tightly or in an odd way I would also recommend a tubing bender of some kind. The larger low pressure line may try to kick on you. Be careful not to kink it. If you do you will need the flaring tool for sure, and hopefully it’s on one end or the other and you can cut the tubing and reflair. ... show more

I got this turbo 12,000 Btu finnmark series for the value and efficiency it works great for central Alabama climate in just ordered another and is on they way, I would say about 500 sf is what it’ll cool and heat the 750 would have to be well insulated, anything around 750sf I’d go with an 18,000 Btu honestly, not sure your sf? Measure your length and width then multiply them by each other ... show more

Received December 5. Installed December 12. Indoor unit doesn't communicate with outdoor unit. Installer has taken photos, sent them to the company only to be told he did it correctly. He has been communicating with them for 6 days and still no resolution, only being passed from person to person. It is December and we have had temps in the single digit. I don't know if they will make this right or if we should rip it all out and send it back. Do not buy! ... show more

Since install it’s been fantastic. The price for what you get is unheard of for a quality mini split. It cools our room fantastically and install was a flash! It all seems to be made very well and very quiet. I do have two things I DO NOT like about it and why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. I cannot get the Wi-Fi blue tooth to work. I down loaded the app but it’s just too vague and I’m no dummy. I have two other mini splits and they were a breeze to use blu-tooth on. This one not so much. I spent literally countless hours trying to figure it out. Also it’s stuck on Celsius, I’ve tried EVERYTHING to change it to Fahrenheit but nothing is working. Not a huge issue but a little aggravating. To me when I see prices of the other units out there, it’s Still worth it! ... show more

This was much easier to install than I ever imagined. The instructions were straight forward, bought the vacuum to check the connections. Did contact customer service for a minor issue and they were great to respond and answer any questions.
