  • An incredible little machine. BUT the USB cable it came with would not work.
Number of Items: 1
Lot's of fun and an incredible little machine for the price. Yes, I had a few little problems, but for this price, I'm willing to deal with it. I bought it to cut logos into hardwood side panels for audio equipment. Expect to spend some time assembling the machine and squaring it up. One of the long stand-offs had bad threads out of the bag, I could slide a nut up and down and it would never get tight. Not a big deal, they're cheap and I actually had some laying around. Also, I spun around with the ch340 driver for awhile. I'm on an M4 Mac and it already has driver to connect via serial usb. Installing the 3rd party driver ruins communications to the machine. So at least on my M4 Mac, that was a mistake to install the 3rd party driver. I deleted it. It shows up as a usb serial port connection in the dropdown in the Candle Controller software. Which works on my M4 (btw). After I got the jog functions working, I tested my first files and it would freeze on lines 26,27 and 32 of my file. I spun around on this for at least two hours. I was using the supplied USB A->B cable that was included with the unit. It looks decent, has a magnetic choke on it. As soon as I changed the cable out to one of my USB C->B cables, it continues to make complete runs without errors. Trying to interrupt it and restart has not been successful, but I'm really not worried about it as long as it continues a full run. Working with scrap oak right now. Moving on to walnut next. Why didn't I deduct any stars for these small problems? Because for what this little machine does for this price is rather incredible. I'm on 3rd run now and it looks pretty accurate. UPDATE: DON'T TRY UNLESS YOU ARE READY TO DIG IN-- I went ahead and flashed it with a different firmware and actived the SD card on the unit. WIFI is also avaiable but I don't use it. I now run my 68,000 line .nc g-code files on an sd card with my laptop disconnected. Zero failures on the last 3 runs. Between Candle and gSender, I'm happier with gSender. When Candle lost communication, the spindle would plunge full depth. When gSender lost communication through USB, this did not happen, the spindle stopped. Much safer. ... show more

  • Buena, pero corta de potencia.
Number of Items: 0

  • Good machine and service
Number of Items: 0
Haven't used much but it looks it seams to be a good machine to learn on. It was missing one of the rubber feet and I emailed company to get the part and I also asked them where I could get a mount for a trim router. They didn't respond on the trim router part and when I got package they sent four rubber feet and two trim router mounts. So they care which is nice. Hope to get some good use from the machine and to learn the software. I did not use their software I ended up using LightBurn Software which works great with machine. ... show more

  • Avoid at All Costs: A Masterclass in Poor Quality Control and Terrible Customer Service
Number of Items: 0
- Fails on Basic Accuracy I purchased the TwoTrees TTC450 Pro from Amazon and returned it within a few days due to its unacceptable lack of precision. A CNC machine has one primary job: to cut accurately. This machine failed on the most basic test imaginable. To check its accuracy right out of the box, I programmed a simple cut: two identical straight lines, both specified at 3/8" wide and 2" long. I arranged them in a simple V-shape, starting from the same origin point but heading in different directions. The result was a clear failure. One of the cut lines was visibly wider than the specified 3/8" dimension (see picture). For a machine to produce two different-sized cuts from two identical lines simply based on the direction of travel indicates a fundamental flaw in its mechanical stability or calibration. If it can't handle a simple straight line, I have zero confidence it can produce anything with the precision required for actual projects. I didn't bother with further troubleshooting; a brand-new machine shouldn't fail such a fundamental test. Thankfully, the Amazon return process was straightforward. Hoping my first experience was a fluke, I ordered a second machine directly from the manufacturer during a sale. Incredibly, it had the exact same imprecise cutting problem, but even more profound. This confirmed my suspicion that the issue is a fundamental design or quality control flaw, not a one-off defect. My experience with the TwoTrees TTC450 Pro has been a month-long saga of disappointment, starting from the moment I opened the box. The problems began immediately: Missing Parts: The machine arrived with missing M3x5 screws right out of the box. A minor issue, but a clear sign of poor quality control. Mechanical Failure: Shortly after, I discovered a critical mechanical failure. The Z-axis motor would spin, but the bit holder wouldn't move up or down due to a faulty coupler. The Deal-Breaker: Even after addressing the coupler issue, the machine's primary function is a complete failure. It cannot cut accurately. Test cuts of two identical lines resulted in two different-sized cuts, one of which was larger than the design file specified. A CNC that can't cut to the specified dimensions is essentially a very large, expensive paperweight. Dealing with TwoTrees' "customer service" was even more frustrating than the faulty machine. Their strategy is one of delay, deflection, and making the customer jump through endless hoops: Slow Responses: Nearly every email from them took days to arrive and began with "Sorry for replying so late." Constant Demands for Proof: For every single issue, I was required to send photos, videos, original design files, and g-code files. It felt less like troubleshooting and more like an interrogation designed to wear me down. Refusal to Accept a Return: When I formally requested a return (well within their 30-day policy), they ignored the request and instead offered a "complimentary set of milling cutters" if I would keep the broken machine. The Return Runaround: After I insisted on a return, they presented a convoluted process requiring me to take more photos and videos before they would even provide a return shipping address. After sending the photos, I was told to wait longer while they "confirm the address with the warehouse." To make matters worse, the issue is still unresolved. It has been weeks since their last email, and I am still waiting for the return shipping address they promised. They have gone completely silent, seemingly hoping I will just give up. Save yourself the immense headache. Look elsewhere! ... show more

I'm using this pancake motor on my e3dv6 Direct drive setup it attaches quite nicely to my BMG style extruders. I will most definitely buy more of these for future CNC/ 3D printer builds. ... show more
