  • A Trustworthy bike!
Color: Black
Have had this for several weeks now and I absolutely love it!!! The battery lasts a long time, which I love as Ive used it for commuting to work! It has pretty good millage on it and gets really fast if you want it to. It's a little tall for me (5'1) but just means I have to stand on my tippy toes a little, definitely a bigger bike for a small lady like me. It's really sturdy and handles bumps and dips really good. It's really fun to ride outside of commuting, my whole family as taken many spins around the neighborhood on it. I picked it up riding it quickly too, it's not hard to use at all, you can change the speed settings on the fly which I love. I made my brother build it but he said it wasn't too complicated to put together. Overall an amazing bike for its price! ... show more

  • Amazing bike!
Color: Black
This bike is absolutely wonderful and the price can't be beat. Looked at ebikes for alot more money and what you get with this one is worth it. Rides on and off road and hills are no problem. Battery life is top notch, has lots of power. Comfortable and easy to pedal if you choose. My brother is a little over 6ft tall and was perfectly comfortable on this thing. Headlight is nice and bright for nighttime no other lights needed for sure. All in all I'm super impressed with this bike and would buy another in a heartbeat! ... show more

  • amazing bike
Color: Black
I absolutely love my TST R002! The moped-style design is not only super cool, but it rides incredibly smooth thanks to the full suspension and fat tires. It easily handles both city streets and light off-roading. The power is fantastic, and getting around is an absolute blast. What really blew me away, though, is the customer service. I had a few minor questions when my bike arrived and reached out for support. They guided me with an issue I had with the brakes, and I needed a replacement taillight so they sent that for free also. They are also about to ship some screws I need for replacement for free which is genuinley so helpful. This shows they dont just care about selling the product but most importantly care about customer satisfaction for the long term. Their team was incredibly helpful, super quick to respond, and resolved my issues immediately. You really can't beat finding a great, affordable ride backed by such an awesome support team. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Bike feels premium, but there is a a problem with the handlebar stem
Color: Black
This bike feels and looks premium, am giving it four stars because the handlebar stem was loose even though I had tighten it fully, other than that the bike looks so sleek and it rides smooth the tires also look really cool and with the thick tires it helps with the stability, also the bike goes 20 mph out the box but it you download orbital sports you can make it class three allowing it to go 30 mph, the battery life is also really good 👍 the bike feels really durable i hit small jumps but other than that it feels fine the the stability is good ... show more

  • Ordered 2 of these and both came early and work great!
Color: Black
It's a bike, not a motorcycle. Other low-rated reviews constantly complain about stuff that would make it a motor vehicle. PAS is a pedal assist technology to make it so you can ride comfortably even if your area is really hilly like where I live. I tested it on the biggest hills in town and it did just fine. Max speed is about ~22 locked. I haven't unlocked them yet but dont really need it. I barely need to go faster than 15mph where I live. Comfortable ride, decent battery life, good quality assembly. And very good value for how little it costs. A bit heavier than I thought it would be, and bulky but I have room so it's no big deal. Both bikes assembled no problems at all and they look and run great. Well above my expectations. Tips for assembly: Seat: be sure to not tighten the bolts until you have all bolts in, you will need to push on the side of the seat to get past the bar -- and yes this is normal for many bikes with this style seat. Breaks: may need tiny bit of adjusting (only one of mine needed a tiny easy tweak), you can adjust the calipers+cable just like regular bike breaks. Handlebars: Do this step first, it makes flipping the bike upside to do the front tire far easier-- be sure to FLIP the handle bar holder 180deg before mounting as you have to remove/reinstall it) Rear Assy Guard: Rear bike bolts are always non-metric so you will need a crescent wrench or vice-grips to take the bolt off instead of using supplied 19mm wrench which may strip the bolt if it is too tight (which it usually is). You only need to take off the TOP MOST bolt, so you dont throw your back tire out of alignment! BE SURE to read the manual install instructions, there are important points such as which items need locking washers or washers. I don't trust professional assemblers (had them do a half assembled job and shortened the life of products in the past) Assembly is not that difficult I am not sure why people complain about it. Now for the experience of riding: Amazing ride, I love it. I get outside so much more. I don't even use the battery half the time even though it is mounted. It is surprisingly EASY to ride unpowered. It is so great to no longer have to worry about hills when biking! I would definitely purchase again. Goodies: they give you a free full toolkit and a few spare screws. Don't forget to buy a lock! (tho battery is key-lock) A great buy. ... show more

  • Greats friendly budget bike !
Color: Black
This bike looks amazing! It is stable and a smooth ride. Speed goes up to 28 mph on class 3 which you can unlock from the app. It took me a while to put the front wheel and seat together because I’m no bike mechanic and wanted to make sure I installed everything correctly. It comes with good instructions and video link to watch. The customer team was professional and friendly. They responded to my messages quickly and sent me pictures on how to install the guardrail and adjust the break. Overall great bike on a friendly budget. ... show more

  • Great price
Color: Black
Great e-bike for the price. It was easy to assemble, rides smoothly, and has plenty of power. The battery lasts a long time, and the suspension makes the ride comfortable. I’ve had no issues so far, and everything works as expected. Very happy with this purchase.

  • The good, not-so-good and the dangerous.
Color: Jet Black
This ebike is a mix of good news and not-so-good news. Keeping in mind that the price was $720 (good news), expect a few areas of cost cutting and inattention (not so good). I'm in California, so maybe this is just for local sales but the bike has a sticker behind the "seat tube" that states "Class 2 ebike, limited to 20mph". Not exactly as advertised. I decided to register the bike as a "moped" to avoid issues with the crazy and constantly changing California ebike class system. It's a simple, one-time $28 registration with several benefits and a few requirements that I meet. A note to TST...how about a "MOPED" setting in the software. 30 mph, headlight automatically on with power up, persistent turn signals. Overall the classic (retro) moped step through frame, bench seat, integrated battery, mounting for a top box, 20x4 tires and full suspension are exactly what I was looking for. So, good news. So, now some observations.... Documentation Quality: Not so good. The user manual has QR codes printed on the front page. One is supposed to go to an assembly video, but goes to an unrelated 27" bike model instead. Use the video on the Amazon page instead, it's pretty good. The QR code to the Android app goes to "Orbital Sports" and definitely download this, connect it with Bluetooth, and look around in the device settings for ebike class (good news). BUT...the included printed "User Manual" is mostly about assembly and is completely useless for a User. This "User Manual" lists recommended service but has nothing about how to accomplish even the most rudimentary tasks (like changing a tire, more later). Keys: not so good...one of the two keys had broken plastic. Fixed it with super glue, but it shouldn't come this way out of the box. Paint: several areas were scuffed or scratched out of the box. Disappointing. BTW: Google translates the Chinese characters on the battery decal as "Battery Decal" :) Assembly: good news...fairly easy, good selection of tools included. Not great tools, but good enough and most of what's needed. Motor: advertised as 1500W, sometimes 750W. Advertised 32 mph, sometimes 28 mph, my reality is 26-27 cruising and occasional 28 with enough runway on level ground. Enough for my needs. Battery: advertised as 48V-15Ahr special for the 1500W motor, with 40 mile range in throttle mode. 1500W at 48V would require an ideal 31.25A from the battery...unlikely. In my experience the 40 mile throttle range is more like 20-25 with noticeable slowing at lower battery levels. Uphill sag is extensive, falling from 24-26 to 14-16 on a freeway overpass (not much of a hill). Gears/Shifter: good news...Shimano 7 speed, not their best but still quality. Brakes: good news...C-Star hydraulic discs, effective but the calipers need centering to keep them from rubbing. Also a little spongy after a couple months so a bleeding kit is a good idea. (nothing in the "User Manual" about either) Pedals: nothing good news here. replace. Controls: good news...effective but reposition everything. Brake levers, shifter and control panel are too high. Best if they are inline with your arm and natural to use. Turn Signals: nice feature but self-cancel after about ten seconds; not nearly long enough when stopped at a light or in a turn lane. Need a least 90 seconds, or a manual cancel. Brake light: also nice feature, not a traditional dim/bright but instead the tail light flashes. OK... Headlight: not so good...almost no illumination at night and barely visible during the day. Replaced it with a much brighter unit with daytime running light. Chain Guard: crank arm hits the chain guard, a little bending of the bracket solves this. Seat: not so good for me (6'1"-185lbs); front seat is short, narrow and collapses to the seat base under my weight. Same for back seat. Replaced the front seat with a custom seat that fits my posterior and doesn't bottom out. Replaced the back seat with an adapter for the top box. Seat Rail: good news...remove the rear seat and it's a perfect place to mount a top box. Gonna need an adapter and the three holes for the rear seat are really convenient. Rear Shocks: depends...they look like coil over damper, but the "damper" is just a slide with no damping. Adjustable pre-load is some good news; the web pictures don't show it but it's there and pretty good for this price point. They come with the preload all the way up (stiff); probably because they advertise the bike to carry a passenger. If you ride solo and aren't 450 lbs then the "shocks" are useless since even adjusting the pre-load to zero gives NO compliance from the springs. It's basically a hard tail for a solo rider (not so good). I replaced both rear "shocks" with a pair of air adjustable units from MEROCA (purchased on Amazon). Still dialing them in but so far it's a big improvement; makes the ride MUCH more comfortable and improves control. Tires: not so good, but maybe just for my application. Tires are very knobby, noisy, bumpy and THIN. Back tire flatted within the first month of riding on paved streets. Replaced both tires with Ultraverse Road Dominator tires (purchased on Amazon) and HUGE improvement. Also learned that removing the rear wheel requires disassembly of the battery connector in the downtube compartment to access the motor connectors to the controller, since there is no intermediate connector from the controller to the rear hub. (the bike was $720 so...short cuts) (also nothing in the "User Manual") Throttle: really not good news. Typical thumb throttle on the left side. It worked fine for the first couple months but recently has introduced an interesting quirk. With the bike stopped, power on but not touching the throttle, the bike will take off at full speed by itself. First time it just ran into a pile of fertilizer bags and I thought maybe I accidentally touched the throttle. Second time it almost shot me into a busy intersection and I know I didn't touch the throttle. Pulling either brake lever will stop it. Now it happens randomly so I keep my hand on the brake lever whenever the bike is stopped with the power on. This might need a replacement throttle, or maybe a complaint to the NTSB, haven't decided. In summary the not-so-good news is about even with the good news, and there is the throttle thing. If it's toy it might not matter, but think twice if you plan to use it for transportation or give it to a child. At this price it's a decent starting point if you want a project and have the skills and equipment, but NOT as a "buy it and ride every day safely" purchase. I'm keeping it, modifying it and using it just about every day for commuting and errands. Better for around town (5-15 miles round trip) than my van, especially with gas prices skyrocketing. BUT...stay tuned for more on the "death wish" throttle. ... show more
