Since , April 3, I have not had no problems at all. I’ve been loving this bike and having so much fun . AFTER WATCHING A TON OF REVIEWS ON YOUTUBE, I WAS SO SKEPTICAL TO EITHER BUY IT FROM THE WEBSITE OR THROUGH AMAZON, BUT WOW, WAS I NOT DISAPPOINTED THE ONLY DIFFERENCE I DID NOTICE BETWEEN THE REVIEWS OF PEOPLE WHO DID GET IT ON THE WEBSITE AND AMAZON IS THE INITIAL BOX DOESN’T SAY TST ON IT AND SOMETIMES THE PACKAGING IS A BIT DIFFERENT. (for example: the seat didn’t come with screws initially on it so I had to use some of the spare screws to screw the seat on) but I ended up getting my seat/pegs and another box that came separately so if you do order the bike with another accessory item don’t expect it to come in the same bike as the box. Assembly wasn’t bad with the tools they provide you with, which is really cool, if you have tools on your own, expect the bill to be super fast. Great value for your money super dope appearance battery life has been pretty good. Has only died on me twice.

The TST R002 e-bike is very well engineered and high quality. One of the first things I noticed is there is virtually no rolling resistance (IMO an indication of high quality), meaning even with the e-bike turned off it will coast a long long ways, which is what you need in an e-bike to go long distances, plus while coasting it will recharge the battery. The R002 has a shorter wheelbase than some other similar e-bikes, which I also own, but the steering and stability is much better on this R002, and it will make it easier to load in the back of my SUV when I go to the mountains. The disc brakes are very good. The Shimano 7-speed derailleur is very good and easy to adjust. (I highly recommend that TST put a horn on their e-bike, it is needed when coming up on pedestrians and other cyclists.) After the first 5 miles I did get a flat rear tire, not sure why because I stayed on bike paths and streets. So I bought a bottle of "Green Slime" and put that inside the inner tube which fixed the flat tire and should prevent future flats for the next 2-3 years. On the neck of the e-bike there's a label that says "Class 2....Max. 750W", however I believe Peak power is 1500 watts. The TST seller is very easy to work with and if you ask them they will tell you how to increase the power to Class 3 so that 1500 watts is more readily available and then the top speed becomes 28 mph. I believe there might be some legalities for the seller selling the e-bike as Class 2, so if you change the power to Class 3 the buyer needs to take responsibility. You can feel the increased power and the e-bike will get up to 28 mph relatively quick and in a short distance, whereas other e-bikes might take two blocks to get up to that speed. The TST customer service people are very nice and more than willing to help you out. They are trying very hard and are selling a quality product R002!! Note: the design of the frame in front of the seat is such that you can mount more accessories easily (bottle holder), as like on the handlebars. Also, I recommend that you get 2 "hardened steel folding links bike locks", and a "disc brake boot lock" with motion detection 110db alarm. Experts say the more hassle your bike security system is the more likely thiefs will pass on your e-bike if it's going to take more than 30 seconds to crack.

Comes mostly assembled. User guide does not mention the app you have to download to change the bike from a class 2 to 3. Durable bike so far, back tire is already close to needing replaced and it’s been a month and half , but that includes hours of riding on it. Battery life (with using mainly throttle the entire ride) will reduce battery life quickly. The throttle got stuck on twice but hasn’t happened since. A great starter electric bike for sure. Removable battery a huge help. Easy to ride for different age ranges. Looks and feels like quality parts and great overall design. Too large to drag in and out of a house.

This bike is amazing. I use it for errands around town, commuting to work and easy to take on a crowded BART train. Its hella fun to ride, brings the kid out of you and the 20x4 wheels provide traction when needed for any terrain. It can take a beating, extremely durable if maintenance.
