I did hours of research on an e-bike for my teenager before buying the TST. A lot of his friends have Surrons but I’m not ready for him to have something that powerful (not to mention, police seem to be cracking down on kids under 16 driving them where we live). This is more like a Super73 but a lot less $$. I like that if the battery dies he would be able to pedal home, but we have barely knocked one bar off the battery with several miles of goofing around in the few days he’s had it. It has more than enough power, even in the very hilly area we live. He hasn’t taken it off-road yet, but I don’t doubt it would do great on a dirt trail. My only complaint is the instructions are incredibly limited and we’re still trying to figure out some things, but knowing this is coming from Asia, I won’t knock it a star because I was very well aware of that when I purchased it. If you want to change it to be able to go 28 mph you need to download the app; it is labeled as a Class 2 bike (has a sticker on the frame) but the app change does make it a Class 3. It’s hard to trust any of the reviews on any Amazon bikes because they are almost all purchased or bots based on the vernacular and the names. I legitimately purchase this bike and put it together myself (took a couple of hours, a lot of of that spent getting the brakes adjusted properly which a bike shop probably could’ve done in 10 minutes). I will update if we have any problems with it in the future. So far, feels like I got a solid product for a great price and would recommend.

Takes 3 hours to put it together but it was fun The headlight could be bette it projects half of a light and I was riding in the park at night and Icouldn't see well Take off power is good and it had no problem climbing Hills. Addendum: I received a faulty headlight that shines in a dome shaped. I notified TST and they that's normal.They must think I'm stupid to believe this. The definitely do not stand behind their products. The last photo show the projection of the light, very pathetic.

Update***The manufacturer worked well with us and we ended up sending it back. Will likely order another. Updated to 5 stars for the ease of working with the manufacturer. Next time if the box is damaged, I’m not accepting it. Was huge disappointment and waste of ours and manufacturer’s time due to Fed Ex. *** Original note. First unpacking, the bike looks great. Everything was very well packed, but the FedEx driver tried to deliver yesterday. Said it wasn’t on his truck because it was damaged in shipping. They needed to box it back up and make sure everything was there. He brought it today. the box was damaged, but we unloaded it and began unpacking and found as we were assembling it that the front brake disc is severely bent, probably from whatever put a hole through the side of the box, and the wire harness was pinched. Currently, I’m trying to reach out to the manufacturer to see if we can’t just get another disc, and wire. I’m leery of trying to bend back straight because it looks to be hard metal and may break. Other than that issue it looks great.

I am not handy at all, and I was able to assemble this bike in under 90 minutes. It has worked great for what I need it for. Minus 1 star for customer support so far they are horrible. But I am satisfied with the product.

Great bike!! I have another bike for my son that was thousands of dollars but I would say this one is totally comparable. The range is good. The speed is good. It looks awesome. Excellent value. It’s still a bit big for My daughter, but she fits on it and she is almost 5 feet tall. She’ll be able to ride it when she’s an adult too.

I’ve owned this bike for 2 weeks now and I must say that I’m overall impressed with the performance of the motor/throttle and pedal assist. This bike easily reaches 28mph on flat ground in no time. This thing really zips. On steep uphill grades (I live in a Colorado mountain town) it tends to cap out around 10mph. The pedal assist will help you with the climb if you’re willing to push a couple cranks on the drivetrain but it’s by no means a speed demon in steeps. The frame design is solid and the welds are good quality and consistent. The bike is intuitive and comfortable to ride. There is an obvious “hum” with the motor that you should except from most brushless motors. It’s not silent but it’s also not loud. The drivetrain shifts rather efficiently and with little resistance. Giving you a more dialed in kind of feeling when using the pedal assist. My main issue came with the braking components. Out of the box I noticed there was a slight bleed in the front brake caliper that was only further aggravated by use. The fluid continues to leak onto the rotor; thus contaminating the brake pads and resulting in an incredibly loud “brake squeal” that honestly turns heads. Very quickly the feeling of the brakes has become “squishy” to the point I fear for their responsiveness. I intent to replace the brake system with Shimano MT200’s and subsequent new shimano rotors. While it’s not a massive cost it did add ~$100 to my overall investment. I can’t speak for whether this is a quality control issue or a fault of the brake company but if you live in a steeper environment except to have to replace the braking system immediately. Overall I think for the cost this is a quality e-scooter/bike but I’d rather have spent slightly more for higher quality components.

This bike is so awesome I can’t recommend it enough to all my family members and friends ! This bike is a true head turner it catches attention everywhere I go and it’s so fun to ride around the city the pedal assist it offers is amazing or you can turn it completely off and ride it like a normal bike! The seat cushion is also awesome it’s so comfortable everyone loves it ! And the battery life is also great I’ve only charged it once since I got it and I rode about 65 miles with my pedal assist on level 1 which is pretty quick and safe! Over all this bike isn’t that heavy or big I’m standing at 5’10” and it’s perfect for me! I would highly recommend this e-bike as a top contender!
