The offgassing smell is a bit harsh. Apparently memory foam does this. It expanded to about 7" in height in most areas. It's comfortable but my previous one was 100% cotton and didn't have the scent. It is adequate for the price. Follow up. I've had it now for almost a month and the smells that emanate from it are off-putting. Laying down on it you'll get wafts of chemical type smells and it's not relaxing. It was less than 200 bucks so I guess I can't be too upset but...yeah the smell is unpleasant. ... show more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I’ll start off by saying I never leave reviews, but I am so offended by this product that I felt compelled to show everyone how terrible it actually is. Firstly, the item has at least 12 tiny holes in it from manufacturing errors. This should have never left the warehouse based on that alone. Secondly, there are multiple errors in the stitching used for the tufting in the mattress. Stitching is out of place and completely undone in one area. This makes the mattress look and feel incredibly lumpy. Third, there are threads hanging loose all over the zipper area. Fourth, it was dirty when I unpackaged it. I requested a refund from Amazon customer service as there is no way I can get it back in the box or even lift it, but I was refused the refund. It must be returned. So now I am stuck with this utter piece of 💩. Unbelievable. I am 100% unhappy. DO NOT BUY!!! ... show more

I had one of these years ago and it seems the quality has gone down since then. Within a couple months there's a notable dip in the center and it takes almost an hour of moving and rolling the massive thing around to try to even the filling out a bit. Not horrendous but not great either.

This futon mattress is great. I was not sure if I had medium or high expectations, but I slept on it two nights in a row with my husband and it's plenty big enough & it was plenty comfortable enough. I'm a very pleased with my purchase!!!

The box was not strong enough for the mattress. One end was torn open and mattress is dirty. Ugly white threads tufting it. Not 8 inches. Just under 7. Basically same as 6 inch original I am replacing. Very disappointed. How do you return a mattress once it expands? Box was torn so it isn’t going in that one. ... show more
