I just finished installing this on the back of our F150 and it looks really good, as you can see from the attached photo. I think time will tell on the durability of this and I think how well its installed will also play into its functionality and longevity. The materials provided all felt very durable and my initial thought is it wont be an issue long term. If someone is going to have issue here its likely going to be from improper installation, which I myself may have done. I dont think so, but time will tell. Installation: Installation isnt complex although it is annoying if you're going to do this by yourself and maybe not clean your truck bed out before starting. The first steps involve placing everything down and then attaching the back rail to the side rails. They provide an Allen wrench, which I was able to complete the job with, but I would recommend some sort of electric drill with an Allen wrench attachment if you have it. Getting the screws to tighten correctly is critical to a solid build and getting the Allen wrench to work when one side is backed up against the bed is a challenge. Further, when you're screwing it in, its not a hole but instead, a slide. So, it's possible to tighten this section without the pieces being properly aligned. In my case I thought I was aligned and tightened but when I went to the right side, the left came out. The next phase involves putting 3 clamps on each side in a best fit sort of situation. You'll want to get them flush as possible, but truck beds have some curves along the walls, so you'll need to find a spot that works well. Tighten those down and you're basically done. Line everything up, pull things tight, make sure the guides at the rear are in place and lock it down. What I dont like: Clamps that keep everything in place are a good size and made of aluminum. I feel like next time we take a road trip to Kansas, at some point, coming or going, I'm going to cut my hand removing things from the bed. They have fairly rounded corners so maybe I'm just being paranoid. If the instructions don't say to have help or to assemble elsewhere and then move to the truck they should. I feel connecting the back and sides would've been a lot easier if I could've put everything together upside down in my living room and then carried it out and clamped it down. The instructions they provide elude to this needing to be assembled at the truck, which is not the case. Its only once you're ready to attach the clamps do you need to be at the vehicle.
