Size: 3pcs COB Light Strip
Just installed in the tool compartments in a service truck. Easy installation. I did trim a few strips to fit, I removed the rubber boot on the piece I trimmed off , used Permatex to reseal the led strip end, then put the boot I removed on the newly sealed end. The power supply I already had, (previously installed strip lights that I removed), so I just needed to trim the new lights wires to the length I needed and add my own wire connectors. Adhesive is strong but due to the strips being rolled for packaging it was a little difficult to keep the ends of the strips from curling up. I was a little pressed for time to install so the time used to flatten them out was minimal. Next time I will spend more time working with that small problem, possibly trying to use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat the strip up a little to help. They are definitely a lot brighter than the ones I removed. Like I said, I just installed them so, I can't speak for how long they will last, or how waterproof they really are. For my purposes they turned out to be a win on all fronts. They were simple to make fit into my needs. ... show more

I got thees for my 2017 GMC Canyon with a long bed. I won't lie when I opened the box I was a bit underwhelmed. But I decided to go ahead and install them and im glad I did. Wow are they ever Brite tons of light just as I hoped for. My truck has a free plug right behind the driver's side tail light that is connected to the overhead bed lights so I connected mine to that plug. So now when I hit the switch on the dash for the overhead lights my new bed lights come on as well. I also have the switch that came with the kit stuck to the bed side by the gate so I can turn them off and on from there as well. Great kit highly recommend. The adhesive on them stuck to my bedliner perfectly I did wipe everything down with rubbing alcohol first and used a heat gun to warm the adhesive as I installed it. Im super happy with the product. My installation could use some work but thats on me not the product. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend. ... show more

Bought these as a gift for my son, here is what he said. I would give these lights 4 stars and not 5. The good: They are bright, easy to use, and have an inline fuse. The adhesive is pretty good, especially for the price. The bad: They emit a strong odor right out of the box. It's bad enough that it takes away from the expected professional feel of the product. I'm planning on putting these in the bed of my truck in the next week, as I'm waiting on other components. For now, they sit in a box in my office. They give off a strong odor, much like a skunk mixed with a pickle. I've since repackaged the box to stop the odor, but it lingers. The other thing I have noticed is they do not seem like they could be trimmed to fit in smaller locations. They seem to be waterproof, but if you were to trim the light, it would break the seal on the lights, unlike some other LED strips. The length of the LED strips is perfect for my need, but may not work for in tighter areas. Just make sure these are the length you need. Overall, it is a decent product, especially for the price. Just make sure these are the right length and that you do not plan to use them as interior lights. ... show more
