These things are bright. Wired them down to my trailer plug (2015 Silverado - red wire with green stripe) with the button stuck just inside the door for easy on/off. Adhesive used just to set them up and then screwed the clips in once in place. Wish they came with a few more clips than just 3 per strip but it works. I'll need to massage them a bit to get them a little more straight. ... show more

Tape is very sticky but make sure you clean the area first. They hooked up easily, but word of caution, if you have a newer vehicle, they may stop working or trigger a message on the drivers display. Do you research or look for one that is compatible with YOUR vehicle. They look great and have well then enough wire length. ... show more

    • Bright, Easy to use, but Kind of Smelly
Size: 2pcs COB LED Light Strip
Bought these as a gift for my son, here is what he said. I would give these lights 4 stars and not 5. The good: They are bright, easy to use, and have an inline fuse. The adhesive is pretty good, especially for the price. The bad: They emit a strong odor right out of the box. It's bad enough that it takes away from the expected professional feel of the product. I'm planning on putting these in the bed of my truck in the next week, as I'm waiting on other components. For now, they sit in a box in my office. They give off a strong odor, much like a skunk mixed with a pickle. I've since repackaged the box to stop the odor, but it lingers. The other thing I have noticed is they do not seem like they could be trimmed to fit in smaller locations. They seem to be waterproof, but if you were to trim the light, it would break the seal on the lights, unlike some other LED strips. The length of the LED strips is perfect for my need, but may not work for in tighter areas. Just make sure these are the length you need. Overall, it is a decent product, especially for the price. Just make sure these are the right length and that you do not plan to use them as interior lights. ... show more
