We had about 350lbs of paper to shred and the going rates for paid services in my area were charging 1.00 per Lb of paper. We bought this and doing about 50lbs a day of shredding this unit powered through it like a champ. Oiled the unit between each box. It was talking after each one, but kept going where other shredding units we had would overheat. The 100 page auto feeder is great and allowed for some procrastinating on my phone while it did its thing. The extra small cuts it made also allowed for packing the scraps in trash a lot better than other brands. My only gripe that I'm sure is a feature is a small clear plastic flap just inside the opening to prevent accidental paper insertion. The flap adds just enough resistance to keep paper from falling in but prevents thin paper (receipts) from going in on their own.

Having had multiple bad shredder purchases, I was searching for a shredder that would just work. I bought this and would definitely recommend. Zero issues. Works great. Has a big bin. Easy to empty. Owned since 2021. Durable. I cannot say enough nice things about this product. Do not expect to shred 10+ pages but shred on demand. If you need a good shredder, this one fits the bill.

***Updated 12/13/20: The shredder jammed last week and totally stopped pulling in paper. Less than a year so they sent a replacement. We will see how long this one lasts!*** This machine works well to shred everything we need shredded. I love that I can put a stack of stapled papers in and it will shred them. Wish I could put a bigger stack in each time. The papers need to be relatively straight to not get jammed.

I did find that I had to remove the staples before sending the paper through; actually, I just tore the stapled corners off but you can feed a big stack of paper through this in a short amount of time. Well worth the money

Does not make a lot of noise, has a steady speed, and able to move around easily with the tires in the bottom. Wish you were able to fit regular size trash bags to make it easier to dispose of shredding but overall, can't complain at all. It does its task as it's meant for.
