They were wrong, as regards my order. I got a pair, as ordered. Exactly. Appear to be brand new. At a cost less than Amazon was asking for CAP dumbbells. Yes, the package was damaged. But that was the fault of Fed Ex, not the staff at Tru Grit. And the inner packages containing the dumbbells were unscathed and firmly bound with reinforced tape. The rep at Amazon that I communicated with, was pleasant but should have been more reassuring and given me his name and email. So I only gave him/her/it 3 stars. I can only conclude that either Tru Grit has cleaned up its act or the raters who complained did so in anger, without seeking a response. I did appreciate the rep's expression of concern.
