The Tru-Flate 16-250 120V Inflator is an electrically-powered air compressor designed for inflating tires, sports equipment, and other inflatable items. This inflator permanently mounts to the wall and includes a 25' poly recoil hose and mounting hardware. Also equipped with clip-on chuck for ease of use. Features Smart Flate preset digital inflating technology. This technology allows the user to preset a pressure and the inflator will cut off once it has reached that pressure.     • Poor customer service form JBTools
I had multiple issues with this order. The air pump failed after a couple of uses. I don't know if this was just a defective product or if it was incapable of inflating a truck tire to 70 psi even though its rated to 110 psi. I like the concept of having a wall mounted inflator but a 25 ft hose was too short to reach around the vehicle. Also the pressure limit selector was a little clumsy until I realized the that pump had to pump a couple of pounds (on the display) above the set pressure to reach the actual set pressure. What really upset me was the lack of warranty. While I purchased the product from Amazon it was actually shipped from JBTools. It turns out the JBTools doesn't honor the 1 year warranty from Plews & Edelmann and only provides 30 day return on this item. I purchased the product in July and tried to return it in October. When I checked with Plews they indicated that they could only honor warranty claims through their distributors. JBTools denied any responsibility and said to check with the manufacturer. Fortunately Amazon stepped up and released my form this Catch 22 situation and issued a refund. My advise is to avoid any transaction involving JBTools as they aren't operating as a responsible distributor. In fact, Plews & Edelmann doesn't list JBTools on their distributor list so its anyone's guess as to how they are involved in the transaction. If you have to buy a item from JBTools I would recommend purchasing an Amazon warranty. ... show more

Does all I need. I've used it to fill up golf cart tires, car tires and boat trailer tires. Easy to install to wall. Easy use and function. Hose is not the highest quality but for a home owner it is function.

I’ve had this air compressor for a couple of years and love it!! It pumps approximately 2.5 p.s.i. higher to compensate for the air loss when disconnecting the hose from the tire stem. The amount of air I pumped into the tire always matches my car’s on board TPMS system. I even bought one of these for my dad as a Father’s Day gift!! ... show more

Does the job but inaccurate, approximately 3-4 psi off on the auto shut off as others have mentioned. Installation is nice and straight forward with some studs, a few 2 by 4's and a few screws. Quality is a mixed bag, the inflator seems decent and no assembly required, the hose is decent enough but the connector and end piece are pretty rough when being nice. All around feels decent for the price but it does feel like a little more money could have gone a decent amount further to make it really feel worth it. pros: Quick to inflate and is convenient for multiple vehicles. cons: air chuck connector and accuracy. ... show more

This is a consumer, not commercial, product. I love the convenience and the length of the hose. It works well with cars, trucks, bikes, balls, and other inflatables. My neighbors even come over to use it. However, the seals eventually wear out and are not replaceable. For the cost, I don't mind replacing every ~5yrs. ... show more

    • Died after 2 months with almost no use.
This looked like it would be an ideal product for what I needed, a family friendly way for everyone to keep their bike tires inflated. I bought it in November and it worked fine. I tried to inflate my tires for a winter ride in December and the unit would not turn on. I called the customer support number in the manual and they asked where I purchased it. They said that they don't warranty products sold by Amazon. When I pressed that the warranty was a manufacture warranty and I was calling the number listed by the manufacturer i was transferred to "management" and got a voice mail.     • Set your pressure higher.
Solid compact build love the length and flexibility of the hose. The auto pressure setting isn't that useful for low pressure wheels and inflatables. The inflator pumps air in at a out 18 psi so any lower setting causes it to turn of as fast as it was turned on. But it does display the tires pressure when it shuts off. So I set it to a higher setting and just hit the power switch a few times until it reads what I need. Overall great value with a few flaws, easy to use, and works fast. ... show more
