Listed as having 4,000 joules which is excellent for my use, probably overkill but that's ok. I am very happy that I purchased this one with the screw on ability. I hadn't planned on mounting it, but I did. I placed it on the floor behind my furniture and then realized I could see it and all the plugs. So, I decided to mount it on the back of the furniture. So much better! Nothing shows AND I left the top plugs empty so when the holidays come, and I put displays on my furniture, I can plug a number of decorations into it and not have to move any furniture or see any wires. I use this power strip in my home office. There is a lot of space between all of the outlets so there's plenty of room for all of the strange plugs that seem to come with docking stations, computers, cell phones ad infinitum. I do have several other power strips but usually have to leave one or two of the outlets empty because of the size of the plugs. This power strip has worked well for me, and I do highly recommend it.

I needed a new power strip to guve my husband more room for both of our computers and right away, I noticed a big, positive change. Suddenly, my fast charging phone chargers are working better, his laptop doesn't take forever to charge and my oldest computer is running like new. I'm never doing those Walmart clones again after this! I'm going to buy another one for the living room, this adapter is much safer than my old one.

Although you might think it odd to get excited about a Power Strip, it's not if you get a bunch of lousy ones before this one. I needed a *specific* size power strip with a specific number of receptacles that included USB outlets of type A and USB-C. Finding this particular power strip on Amazon was great. It is exactly the kind of power strip I was needing. However, that is only the beginning of this review. Unlike other power strips I tried, this one has receptacles that are not too tight or too loose. I received power strips that were nearly impossible to insert plugs into, and power strips with receptacles that, for example, the Amazon Echo power brick would practically fall out of the receptacle was so loose. Also, the receptacles don't have "child protection" features, something I do not require or need. I also prefer external mounting lugs, which this power strip obviously has. Plenty of receptacles and they are correctly spaced for just about anything you want to stick in there. Indicator lights are a nice touch, as is the On-Off switch. Cord length (5ft in my case) was perfect, but you can get much longer cord lengths if you need them. Surge protection is always handy to have. Low profile is also a nice feature. After I received this power strip I realized that I had other Trond items that I really liked, so I'll probably just look for this brand in the future. After taking the pictures, I noticed that the power cord was under stress, so I corrected that.
