Quality product and everything was as advertised and expected. The wires are 10 ga, butt connecters made for easy connection to existing pontoon wiring and Trolling motor wiring. I recommend shrink wrapping to ensure protection from moisture/water contamination. The plug connection of unit is indexed and is solid and secure. I won't need to worry about it accidently disconnecting at all. I replaced the original trolling motor plug on my pontoon with this and it was a perfect fit. I would 100 % recommend this product for intended use and am complettly satisfied. ... show more

I got this installed with a new trolling motor. It works, that is, if you can get it plugged in. The pins are slightly out of line with each other and with the index tab. This makes it very difficult to plug in. Once it’s plugged it works fine but it’s a struggle to get it to plug. Since it’s all wired in I can’t return it. Plus wasted time to get it mounted in my boat, and now waste time to remove and wire in a decent plug. I would suggest finding some slightly higher grade of made in China junk and go from there but don’t waste your money on this one. ... show more
