I can't vouch for this as far as clearing up an active infection, but it does seem to help with itching and irritation. I saw where another reviewer said her vet said not to use the included swabs as they could push debris deeper into the ear canal. I disagree. Obviously you need to be very careful but the whole point of the water-like liquid is to "flush" the ear. I actually really like the swabs, they're a much better shape and size than others I've bought specifically made for dogs. It's a good cleaner that has no scent or irritating ingredients.

My dog has frequent ear infections as most lab mixes get. I am always trying to keep his ears clean. This kit does a nice job. The bottle fits right in the ear. The swabs help get a lot of the grime out of the ears. This is a good starter kit to cleaning my dog's ears. When I ran out of swabs I just got some more. When I am ready to order more of the cleaner I will order another set.

I checked with my vet and she said NOT to use these cotton tips swabs in the dogs ears! They will push the wax and dirt further into the cannel. The cleaner itself it good. It has an active ingredient known to help keep ears clean and bacteria free. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the "q-tip" like things can cause damage to your dogs ears drums if put into the cannel too far. We are using this cleaner with plain cotton balls with good results.

My little Morkie baby had a ton of hair growth and made her ears so gross and waxy that they looked like she might have ear mites! The vets said she didn't have any mites, so I went ahead with cleaning her ears and using this to get the wax out, and it worked like a charm and faster than the other brands I had been using! After her ears cleared with this one, there also had not been any reoccurrence of the massive wax build like happened with the others (so may have had some sort of little microorganism anyways). I also love how the tip is soft and won't hurt the pup's ears, is longer to get some leverage in getting it into the ear, and has a cap on the tip inside the overall cap to keep it clean and not just from drying. Great, gentle product! This unscented product has some nice features. The nozzle is bendy and soft, making it easier to get to the back of the ear. The cotton swabs are a bit overkill, they are very long, wood handled, and I would prefer them to have cotton on both sides. The solution didn’t bother my older dog which is a win, the lack of alcohol is a positive. This long earred spaniel owner was pleased.

Works well for my golden retriever's ears that tend to get very gunky. Easy to use, and the q tips come in handy, though I need more than one to fully clean his ear. Overall, I'm happy with it.
