Description

ENERGY-SAVING COMPACT DESKTOP UPS 350VA/210W/120V BATTERY BACKUP FOR PCS, HOME THEATER AND DIGITAL SIGNAGE: The standby ECO350UPS UPS system provides reliable battery backup and AC power protection against blackouts, brownouts, overvoltages, surges and line noise that can damage valuable electronics or destroy data. The six-outlet 120V battery backup is ideal protection for your home office, media center or professional kiosk, security and small-business phone applications, including computers, routers, printers, HDTVs, Blu-ray players, game consoles, ATMs, security systems and digital signage equipment. ALLOWS TIME TO BACK UP CRITICAL FILES DURING A BLACKOUT: Backup support allows you to work through short power failures and gives you enough time to safely save files and shut down your system in case of a prolonged blackout. Backup time varies according to load, but the ECO350UPS should keep an energy-efficient desktop computer with small LCD monitor powered as long as 13 minutes. During normal operation, incoming utility power keeps the replaceable internal battery fully charged, so backup power will always be available. 6 NEMA 5-15R OUTLETS PROTECT YOUR CONNECTED COMPONENTS: Three 5-15R outlets provide battery backup and surge protection for your computer, monitor and other crucial component. The other three 5-15R outlets provide surge suppression only for printers, speakers and other desktop equipment regarded as non-essential during a blackout. Each outlet offers wide spacing to accommodate bulky transformer plugs. ENERGY STAR- CERTIFIED TO HELP YOU SAVE MONEY AND PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT: By meeting strict EPA efficiency guidelines, this ENERGY STAR-certified UPS system helps you save money and energy. An ECO power-saving option features two switched, surge-only ECO outlets that turn off automatically when the device connected to the Battery Backup Master Outlet is powered down or in sleep mode. These outlets are recommended for printers, desk lamps and other non-essential peripherals that don’t need to be operational all the time. 316 JOULES FIGHT BACK AGAINST UNEXPECTED POWER SURGES: A 316-joule surge suppression rating protects connected components from the harmful effects of power surges. HID- COMPLIANT USB PORT ALLOWS FOR AUTOMATIC SAVES AND SHUTDOWNS: This USB port connects the ECO350UPS to a computer running free downloadable PowerAlert® software to enable safe unattended file saves and system shutdown in case of a prolonged power failure. USB cable is included. COMBATS ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE THAT CAN HARM EQUIPMENT: Various electromagnetic and radio sources found in virtually every home and business can cause disruptive interference on the AC line. Known as EMI (electromagnetic interference) and RFI (radio frequency interference), this line noise is a common cause of performance problems and can lead to incremental hardware damage, data corruption and audio/video transmission problems. The ECO350UPS incorporates technology that filters out disruptive line noise so that it won’t affect your equipment. HOME-FRIENDLY ALARM AND DIAGNOSTIC LEDS KEEP YOU INFORMED 24/7: The UPS remains silent in both line and battery backup modes. The alarm sounds only to warn you of a low battery, overload or fault condition. A front-panel green LED indicates operating mode, ECO mode and fault status. COMPACT HOUSING COMPATIBLE WITH EASY DESKTOP OR WALL-MOUNT INSTALLATION: The space-saving ABS housing fits on a desktop, shelf or anywhere else convenient to your workstation or home theater. Keyhole mounting tabs on the rear allow easy wall-mount installation. The five-foot power cord with NEMA 5-15P plug connects to any compatible AC outlet. From the Manufacturer Efficient and Effective Now you can protect your valuable electronics, save money on your utility bill and be kind to the planet! • Quality product
Style: 350VA Pattern Name: Battery Backup
Great UPS... USB works with QNAP NAS and with win 8.1... Only downside is the battery is not user replaceable but I'm sure with a screwdriver and a plier I should be able to replace the battery when it is time... Also a note that it does warm up quite a bit and it does have a rather cheap/thin plastic casing. But the price is right and the quality is pretty good for that price range... ... show more

  • It DOES Beep
Style: 350VA Pattern Name: Battery Backup
I bought this bc the reviews said it doesn’t beep during power outage, but it does, and there’s no way to disable it. My power goes out pretty much every night for the whole night and this thing waking me up every night beeping was driving me insane so I stopped using it and will look elsewhere for my next one. Otherwise it works fine. I would have thought it would last a little longer for its price, size, and weight, but it usually lasts long enough for me to run to the shed and turn on my generator so my professional art printer doesn’t get interrupted when it’s in the middle of a print job, which is all I really need, so I’m satisfied. ... show more

  • Great little UPS for a small-form-factor computer or device.
Style: 350VA Pattern Name: Battery Backup
Perfect for protecting a small computer. I my case a small-form-factor NUC. I also like that I can automatically turn off the speakers when the computer is off (easy to configure eco mode on the UPS).

  • Works Great So Far
Style: 350VA Pattern Name: Battery Backup
Oct 12 2009 When the power went out for really long periods of time on previous units, those units would drain the battery until it was dead. When the battery goes dead it will no longer recharge properly. Hopefully that won't happen with this unit. I've had the UPS for about a month now and I get a short (under 5 minute) power outages every few days. I haven't had a really long outages yet. I use this UPS to battery backup my Monitor, Computer Tower, and Router. ... show more

  • UPSs: Simple, Smart Insurance for your Equipment
Style: 350VA Pattern Name: Battery Backup
I utilized this ECO350UPS for an office recently, and was happy with the result. We needed a simple model, preferably with capacity to send shutdown notifications, and priced within reach of a small non-profit. I believe we got what we were looking for. Plugs are well spaced for transformers, it is easy to mount on the wall, and it does exactly what it says. ... show more

  • Not what I hoped for.
Style: 350VA Pattern Name: Battery Backup
Item arrived quickly and I charged it. But it dies pretty much instantaneously when power goes out/unplugged. 4 months now and no change. This battery will not work as a desktop backup. I don't know what volt/amp I need etc., but twelve minutes is definitely not possible. I wish I had returned it, but I kept holding out hope. The funny thing is we use Tripp lite battery's at work in our C.O.W.'s (computer on wheels) and they work great. But this one just isn't up to snuff. Also Battery only has 3 plugs that are actually for powering items. Just spend a little more and get a bigger, better battery, this is a overpriced power strip. Edit: looking at other reviews, my overload/red lite came on the first day I had it. And I have never had it power anything for more than a second. Should have read the reviews on this before... I also have the issue with it not wanting to power on if the battery is dead/has been unplugged. Sometimes I have to remove everything from the powered side to get it to come on, and then plug it in later. Its real annoying. Should have replaced it by now. I use it basically as a power strip now (albeit a poor one). ... show more

  • Ask me again in three years...
Style: 350VA Pattern Name: Battery Backup
This powers my vacation home networking equipment and protects it from the incessant line surges and transients that occur thanks to ongoing saltwater deterioration of power lines to all the residences. It stands alone and isn't networked to anything. Added a whole house lightning protector in the circuit breaker box. I mounted it on the wall and dressed up the cables. Sure beats having a pile of cables on a shelf. Does it work? The electronics in my last one (different location) died five days after the warranty expired. Tripp Lite made good on it. I've never had one of these consumer UPS keep working for more than about 7 years and two battery changes. ... show more

  • Not uninterruptable.....
Style: 350VA Pattern Name: Battery Backup
I have had this battery backup for a while now and was fairly pleased. I didn't run into the issues that other reviewers had, however recently in a power outage I discovered that the unit failed to keep my router powered. After doing a test on it, I discovered that the battery backup was working and would power my equipment while unplugged. The problem with the UPS is that the unit doesn't switch over to battery power quick enough. This causes the connected hardware to lose power for a second and reboot. The whole point of having this was to avoid the reboot time on the router when we get a momentary power loss. As a UPS, it fails. As an expensive power strip, it excels. ... show more
