Fits well, and very adjustable for different vehicles. Seems well made and waterproof, but have only used a couple of times. Easy to set up and folds up out of the way. My only issue is that the buckles that go around the back headrests clip towards the inside, which is hard to reach for me (5'3") to reach in my CR-V. A taller person should have no trouble.

Very easy to put together and up. I bought different safety belts for it as I wanted something better. It came with 1 but I knew already what I wanted so I ordered different ones so what is pictured is not what it comes with (safety belts) however my dogs are able to lay out without falling off, it’s easier on their joints and bones! They absolutely love it and fall asleep so much better than without it as we drive ALOT and I take them whenever I am leaving for long drives. It has places to lock in through the seat and around headrests. It truly adds length to the seat, the quality is great. Worth the small investment! My dogs are comfy and secure and I’m a happy dog momma !

The PETICON back seat extender works really well and makes car rides much safer for my dog. The hard bottom is sturdy, fits perfectly across the back seat, and keeps my puppy from falling into the footwell. It’s comfortable and easy to clean, and installation was simple. The only issue I had is that my 5-month-old puppy managed to chew one of the straps on the very first day. The material of the extender itself is strong, but the strap wasn’t tough enough for a teething puppy. I still think the product is great, just make sure to keep the straps out of reach if you have a heavy chewer. Overall, it’s very useful and makes traveling with a dog much easier.

I'll try to get a picture next time I use this but let me just say... BUY IT!!!! My two sons have big dogs and I just got a new vehicle with leather seats and didn't want them on them so I just happened to see this and it was cheap so I ordered it to see if it'll work and we used it today to take one to their vet appointment. My son and I both set it up but it's so easy that one person can set it up and take it down with no problems!! It covered the whole back area completely, the sides zip close and latch to the grip hanger thing. It is amazing!!! I don't mind having to take them anymore in my vehicle!! It's well made, seems like it'll hold up so if you want to keep the dogs off your seats in the back... Buy this!!!!

I thought my dog would feel caged in but she wasvery comfortable. More secure in the backseat with a flat surface to move around on. We travel by car a lot during the summer and this works great.

I bought this backseat “extender” barrier and tether specifically for our 9-month-old, 50-pound, three-legged rescue puppy. She's sweet, not aggressive, she's just... determined and this product was no match. For the first couple of hours it seemed okay. She rested her face in the center gap, looking like the cutest thing ever. I relaxed, thinking we'd cracked the code for safe car travel, but then she decided she needed to join us up front for some quality time. The seat belt tether was the only thing holding her back, so she just chewed right through it in under a minute, clean snap, no hesitation, shoved the barrier down like it was tissue paper, stepping right over and voila! (did I mention she also was wearing TWO giant donuts around her neck! 😳) We were on a highway in the middle of nowhere with about 14 hours of driving left and this adorable tri-pawd puppy is now in the front seat, sprawled across the console, tail wagging like "Oh hey, this is my spot now." She's only 50 pounds, missing a front leg and wearing not one but TWO donuts around her neck.. I’m no expert, but this should not have been possible. The barrier itself is very flimsy and the tether/seat belt? Even worse! (apparently made of material tasting like freedom and snuggles to a determined puppy.) If your dog is a calm, perfect angel who never questions the rules, and doesn’t move, maybe? If your dog is even the slightest bit of anything else, do not waste your money, not worth the stress, safety risk or using your arm as a barrier for the remainder of a commute. Mia says 1 star for being boring. I say 1 star for almost giving us a heart attack.🐾🚗💨
