I have used several KVM switches over the years and found many unreliable or idiosyncratic, leading to such things as flashing or blank screens or no connection at all. Not so with this unit (though I did need to reboot my laptop initially to get things working correctly). The unit is compact, functional, and easy to assemble and use. The fact that it requires a power source connected by a mini USB (included) is a plus, ensuring a constant power source to maintain a robust connection. The remote control is a welcome feature as I position the KVM switch behind my monitor, which is a bit of a stretch. Since I switch back and forth regularly, I can position the remote conveniently, making it much easier to switch between computers. Overall, it is a well-functioning unit and of great value. (I deducted one star only because my first unit was apparently defective and required an exchange.) ... show more

This KVM switch is nice and compact. It is powered by USB-C which is also a good thing. USB-C to USB-A charging cable is included. It doesn’t come with HDMI cables for all the connections. It only comes with 1 HDMI cable, 2 USB-A cables the aforementioned power cable. It also includes a remote button attached to a USB-A cable. It switches easily via either the remote or the remote button and has a convenient LED on the top of it to show you which connected device is being displayed. I’d give it 5 stars except that the first order I got from them had no actual KVM switch and only a bunch of cables. Very odd. I’ve had to return it to get a brand new set. Slightly worrisome as I’m wondering if I got a used one or whether there is just poor quality control on packing the devices. ... show more

I got the 2 monitor, 3 computer, hdmi only kvm: - I will confirm from another review that the unit stay on even when unplugged because it draws power from from the usb itself. - My unit came with 2 broken buttons (which I just glued back on) so the build quality isn't the greatest. - The unit did come with USB and HDMI cables, but they are super poor quality, I do not suggest you use them as they pick up all sorts of interference (probably unshielded to save on costs), and create visual artifacting, and high data error rates - USB connections on the front of my device are not setup like a usb hub, they cannot communicate with one another and are unidirectional to the usb on the back of the kvm (A little dissapointed but not unexpected) - The hdmi ports are not smart, so you cannot mix HDMI-IN-A with HDMI-OUT-B, A to A works or B to B works only (I was expecting this but wanted to let other folks know in case they were mixing these up) Giving this a 3/5 because of the poor build quality and cables but delivered as promised as a 60mhz 4k 3 computer kvm after replacing the cables with high quality ones. ... show more

Handles all my consoles & my Raspberry Pi on my TV perfectly. My only complaint is Ch 2 on the remote IR signal coincidentally triggers the Options feature on my Roku TVs (Onn & TCL just in case). Not a big deal just takes a sec or so for it to resolve itself when it happens.

    • Not a good product, maybe dangerous

The media could not be loaded. I have numerous computers I use, and some of them are a bit too laggy when trying to control with rdp, so I opted for this kvm switch for a couple to try and improve my workflow. First -- probably the most concerning item -- this thing retains power after it's unplugged. For quite some time, apparently. I had it plugged in for a bit while trying to get it working, but some 35+ minutes after unplugging it, the green light for PC2 is still going. Now, there's nothing plugged into that PC side, and the blue light isn't lighting up for PC1, but the thing should have lost its juice, so I'd think. The concern here is that, alongside with this, is that when I turn the unit into the off position and unplug it, it still keeps my monitor and mouse going. I don't know what is going on, but to me, if the thing has no active power and is shut off and the mouse, keyboard and monitor are still going, that raises some concerns. Maybe it has some kind of stored power that prevents drops in the case of a power blip, which is fine. What is not fine is that the electronics inside don't honor the on/off button, especially when coupled with that. It seems that neither of the display port outputs work on the unit. Whichever monitor I have the HDMI output in works. That's the one of three monitors I get to use with this. Now, this was only true for one of my PCs. One of them, I was only able to get the screen to show once to boot, and then when I switched it, I couldn't get it back. In that case, maybe I'll blame it on that PCs graphics card, though I can run 4 monitors off that card without issue. It's pretty old, so I'll take the blame here. Maybe having 2, 2023 PCs would have made it so I could use one monitor on both PCs using this kvm switch. On the one monitor for the one PC that I could use with this, the mouse got stuck every few seconds -- like it didn't want to move -- then I'd jerk it around and it moved again. I don't know if the jerking the mouse around was necessary, but that's what I did. Basically unusable, even if you could ignore the rest of the problems. To the extent possible without buying more cables, I swapped all of the cables around, to see if I could narrow down what was bad. However, once I noticed the stored power and no honoring of the on/off button, I knew there was no hope for this. This didn't change the behavior, anyhow. This may very well be the worst product I've purchased on Amazon. If it didn't cost so much, I'd just throw it in the bin. Hopefully Amazon destroys this unit rather than sells it off as a return -- I'm concerned there's a safety issue here. It's possible I have a bad unit and every other person gets a good unit, but I'm not risking my time or equipment to get another one like this to find out. Apparently I didn't get any non-blurry images of it being toggled off with the monitor on and don't wish to plug stuff back into it, but have attached a video of it retaining power while being unplugged from power. ... show more
