For the price it’s a pretty decent quality bedframe. Assembly is pretty time consuming, the headboard alone takes the most time as you’re putting together just about the whole thing. Instructions could be a little more clear, but overall it’s not difficult to assemble and I’m pleased with the purchase. It looks nice, so far there’s no squeakiness. Only gripes are the end corners are a bit sharp and worrisome with a toddler around (and my own knees) and the bed is a little slippery on the frame but easily fixed, and we were missing two (inessential) pieces. The lights are cool, the little power strip is nice, the headboard is decently plush. The storage drawers are a little bit flimsy and not as large as I was expecting but they look nice.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love this frame, BUT.... This is the second time I have bought a bed frame from Amazon. The biggest difference between the two, is my first frame was almost like a crib, as in, the mattress was kind of enclosed. It was impossible to shift with daily use. This frame I have to shove the mattress back on with my knee daily. There are most certainly fixes for that, but why? The lights are amazing, my two year old basically lives on our bed changing the lights all the time. Assembly wasn't extremely difficult but it did take my wife and I 3 hours or so with our own tools. We were considering not putting in the drawers for the headboard or under the frame. Mainly because we were pretty tired after the rest of assembly. We left it that way for about 2 weeks and it was very obvious something was incomplete about our bed. I took a half hour yesterday to assemble and install them. It really made all the difference. It looks beautiful now. Basic yet very attractive. No missing parts, no BIG mistakes with assembly, very comfortable, and we quietly slept. I'm very happy with my purchase

Absolutely amazing. Perfect for the teen who has 50 bajillion electronics that constantly need charging. The charging ports and app to change the lights is such a cool feature. It’s sturdy and wasn’t too difficult to build with a ton of extra pieces that were labeled separately as “extra.” Only took about 3 hours to build (and I’m not handy. it’ll probably take most people half the time). The attention to detail on the headboard was so good: pieces to help ensure nothing is pushed out of place with use. This bed is perfect for a teen that could be absent-mindedly rough with their things (mine) Bonus! it was delivered 4 days before actual estimated delivery time. Like when does that actually happen?!

This bed was an amazing buy. Having said that, it was a beast to put together. The headboard alone took close to two hours. The next day put the frame together in about an hour and a half. Now ,I was working alone and I do triple check while constructing. The instructions were easy to follow, the bed is solid, no shakes are squeaks,which is hard to find( I'm 240lbs). The led light, extra storage and charger port is a nice touch. I was concerned the LED lighting would look to kiddy, it doesn't. The only major issue with the bed is the toe stumper right in the middle of the frame. The support bar should be pushed inward about 3-6 inches as it's right there where one gets into the bed. I'm thinking about putting some type of foam on it thats how serious it is. That aside I would highly recommend this bed but get help.

Update: This bed frame kit has two types of fabric available depending on color...Black comes with leather like material but looks like real leather; or Grey, which is a fabric material similar to flannel or felt. This bed frame and headboard were in perfect condition, even after our UPS man dropped it in front of our garage, without bending, as it made a very loud bang (it is very heavy so you will need help if you are old like me and maybe even if you aren't). My friend told me after he put it together (4 hours) how to avoid some of the issues noted by others in their reviews. 1. Slats shifting while sleeping and even falling out under the bed...Included in the package of parts, are small rubber plugs which you must add to the sides of each slat where it meets the side rails. You just push them in. These plugs keep the slats from moving. 2. Light kit that doesn't stay up due to poor glue. He used clear double sided tape to add additional stickiness before installing the light kit. 3. Mattress that, after awhile, will sag between the 6" spaces between slats. This is common for all slat type frames so I purchased a 10mm Bunkie Board and he installed it on the slats under the mattress. 4. Legs are weak and bend under extreme weight...I honestly didn't see this as all the legs were metal and seemed strong, but I did decide to add additional metal legs to the frame as I'm not a skinny woman. 5. End drawers that open when you don't want them to or don't close flush...if you watch any of the video reviews, you see there is a latch you hook the back of the drawers to that keeps them from opening and lines the drawer perfectly when closed. Lift up to open. They are on wheels and easily roll in and out. Once he was done, my friend said this bed frame was the best quality item I had purchased from Amazon so far, that he had put together for me. There are many pieces, but they were all clearly marked and none were missing and all holes lined up perfectly. Be patient and follow the instructions.
