This is the 3rd BioBidet I have purchased. The first was years ago from Costco and it had to have an electrical outlet installed to have warm water. It worked great and it was sold with our home. Now we are in a rental and bought a BioBidet Essential Attachment, non Electric. We were hesitant using it with cool tap water but it works great! Cleans well. This Bio bidet came with everything needed and installed fairly quickly. The “ leveling blocks” are a little funky but, in the end, I didn’t have to use them so wasn’t a concern. Function of it is on par with the much more expensive Toto brand it replaced, although with cold water instead of warm. I thought the cold water would be difficult to endure , it’s not. Where the Bio bidet really shines is their customer service. After using it for about a month, the valve started to leak, the leak did damage the floor, but that’s no fault of Bio, that flooring never should have been installed in a bathroom to begin with. I contacted C.S., they sent out a new valve, with installation instructions. Unfortunately, this replacement leaked much worse than the original. I contacted C.S. Again. They sent a brand new unit. It has been used daily for a couple of months now and performs as well as any I’ve ever used. I would recommend this product with the caveat of keep an eye out for leaks. ... show more

Not too hard to install, they give you all the parts. You'll need a crescent wench and a screwdriver is all. Cold water on your butt, but it's a new way to get clean. Many say it's life changing; So do I.

This bidet was easy to install, attractive, and does the job well. This is only a cold water hook-up which is actually very refreshing. It's simple, affordable, and saves on having to buy toilet paper. I can't believe it took me this long to purchase one - wouldn't trade it for the world. The only thing I would change is the distance from the seat to the arm (or have adjustable) so larger people have a little space. I gave it a five star as I don't know what the Softness is referring to but it is all fabulous. It's a fine product, I highly recommend it. ... show more

Pros: - My butt it’s very clean and I’m using less toilet paper - Installation was easy - It looks sleek Cons: - The aim of the feminine wash setting is further back than the butt wash setting - The pressure can be intense past the lowest setting - Getting fully clean involves wiggling your butt around as you sit and spray - If you sit too far back on the toilet, you can easily get poop on the bidet I don’t regret my purchase, but I would probably go for a more expensive bidet or a different entry level bidet instead of this one. ... show more

This thing shoots water up your 👌 with a force to be reckoned with, felt less like a bidet and more like a sex toy so if that sounds fun then this is what your looking for. In all seriousness I do still use a bidet but the water pressure that this thing produced on my toilet was dangerously high and could probably lead to damaged tissue if used incorrectly. I installed the Bio Bidet Essential Bidet Attachment recently and it’s been a great upgrade to my bathroom setup. Installation was honestly a breeze. Everything lined up easily with my toilet and I had it up and running in just a few minutes without any hassle. Performance-wise, it works exactly how you’d want. The adjustable water pressure is smooth and easy to control, and the dual nozzles for front and rear wash are a nice feature. It feels well designed and does the job effectively. I’ve used other brands before, including Tushy, and I actually like this one slightly better. The controls feel more intuitive and the overall experience just seems a bit more refined. I fell in love with bidets living in Europe and traveling in Asia, and wanted one in my home in the US because they are so practical, and personally I find them more sanitary. This is the second one I’ve installed in my house, and the first of this brand. The kit is pretty complete, although you will need to supply your own screwdriver. In terms of what you need to easily install it yourself, it has all the necessary components and good instructions. Only took a few minutes. I really like the multifunction spray options: if you look at the knob, you will notice two settings. One is for a front-oriented wash (mainly for women) and the other is a back wash. Both work very well. Note that this bidet hooks up to your toilet’s water intake, so it’s all cold water. The one drawback is that I needed to purchase a new toilet seat. The one originally installed on the toilet was a plastic set that had a lip or ridge on the underside that kept the seat from sitting flat when the bidet was placed under it. I bought an inexpensive flat-bottomed wooden seat, and this fixed the problem. Just be aware that this bidet may mean you also have to buy a new seat in order for it to work. ... show more
