This is the 3rd BioBidet I have purchased. The first was years ago from Costco and it had to have an electrical outlet installed to have warm water. It worked great and it was sold with our home. Now we are in a rental and bought a BioBidet Essential Attachment, non Electric. We were hesitant using it with cool tap water but it works great! Cleans well. I have had this thing maybe a few hours and I honestly dont think I can live without it now. Super simple install with a screwdriver (for the toliet seat screws) and cresent wrench large enough to fit you toliet supply hose. The fitting at the tank will be the largest. Recommend shutting the valve off first and flushing the tank until its empty. This will prevent any unnecessary water spillage. It will also allow you to see if your shut off valve is functional. Sometiems the valves dont shut off all the way or at all so be careful Immediately after installing it my morning coffee said it was time. So I took a seat on my throne and deposited my gold for the sewer gods. Make sure you take notice to which direction you need to turn it for front or back. 👀 The rinse wasn't freezing but it was powerful enough that I literally felt like Injust stepped out of the shower. Amazing. So simple, so basic, so awesome. It may be colding in winter months when the lines get more ground temp tonthem but for now Im 💯 satisfied. We will order another for the shore home next week. We purchased the one were the entire hangle turns, not the one with the knob. ... show more

I bought this because it was inexpensive but had good reviews. So far it's working well! Here are some thoughts and caveats: (1) installation was not too bad -- unless you have a toilet designed by idiots, like my Toto with elongated soft close lid. In order to remove the toilet seat, you unscrew two bolts on the top, at which point the lock nuts for those bolts drop down and disappear into the ceramic interior of the toilet. I guess if your toilet is not mounted flush to the wall, and/or if you have very skinny and flexible arms, you could reach in the back and hold onto the lock nuts while unscrewing from the top. In any case I had to unmount the entire toilet and tip it on its back just to retrieve the damn bolts. Then I had to install the bidet seat on the toilet before remounting it to the floor. Ugh! The other issue with installation is that you do need to screw down the hose going from the tee to the bidet fairly tightly. I was worried about overtightening, so was being conservative, but had to re-tighten it several times before it would stop leaking. (2) There is a unit of "Teflon tape" included with absolutely no indication as to when or why you should use it. I assume it's to address any small leaks in the hoses or fittings, but no instructions for it. (3) As others have noted, there isn't a clear "center"/stop point in the water control, so you have to kind of get used to where the center point is. If you go too far you'll get a "front wash" lol (4) the attachment arm leading to the control is made of very weak and thin plastic. I'd be amazed if this thing lasts more than 2 years. Fortunately I no longer have any kids in the house. (5) there is no way to adjust the aim of the nozzles. All in all, this is a very affordable entry level bidet. If it breaks or stops working, I'll probably upgrade to a more durable model, but for now I'm happy with it and would recommend it for anyone on a budget. ... show more

Very satisfied. As easy to install as promised. No electric outlet required (so water is not heated, but it's just not a big deal here at least). Easy to use once you get used to the simple single dial. Certainly cuts down on toilet paper use, though doesn't eliminate entirely. No motor, operates by water pressure, so silent but for the sound of water spraying. Bright white plastic matches standard white toilets and looks fine. Can't attest to it's long term durability but doesn't feel flimsy and I suspect will last for as long as one we had in prior house that has worked for a solid 5 years without problems - and all for about $30. Fits standard toilets, but note that if you have on of those "French-curve" toilet tanks, it probably won't fit. ... show more

I wasn't sure about a non-electric bidet which uses ambient temperature water, but I did not find it uncomfortable. Installation was easy. The only problem with it is that the thickness of the unit causes the front of the seat to be raised about 1 1/2 inches. It's not a problem in itself when you sit but it looks strange looking at it. I wish the seat was flush with the bowl. I had to use the extension pads to prevent the seat from breaking due to it being raised. I will probably replace it with a unit that has the bidet and seat integrated and would be flush with the toilet bowl. ... show more

first, know the water is not heated - that is why it is easier to set up, and costs so much less. the water stream is quite strong - meaning easy to "get the job done" as it were. I have a small toilet, and other options did not fit I have added photos - this more than fit. and it looks pretty nice. One little thing to tell you - the little lip you see means you don't want to place your body too far back over the seat opening. If you want to have that European or Asian touch and use less paper as well, this is a nice entry point for you. The heated ones cost much much more and require an electrical outlet by the toilet. ... show more
