I highly recommend this budget-conscious product for those who have never had a bidet or those who wouldn't use a bathroom without one! It is such a wonderful purchase, I purchased this second one for our second bathroom. I'm a retired math professor but had no problem installing this with the two recommended tools, an adjustable wrench and a screwdriver. Everything else was included and of good quality. The directions were brief but thorough. Even included was optional teflon tape. I decided to use that on the metal on metal fittings, though it is not required. When I tested the completed job, I found no leaks and it took me less than an hour. If I had a third bathroom, I'd be ordering another one now. 😄 ... show more

This is my first foray into bidets. I originally got this because flushable wipes were causing plumbing issues in my house. Installation was fairly easy with the toilet I have. It functions as expected. Another reviewer mentioned the thin plastic the arm with the controls is made out of… I second that. I could see someone accidentally snapping it by sitting on it. But I really haven’t had any issues with it at all and it has totally changed things for me. I hate using toilets without them now! It’s a great first one I would think. This is my third Bio Bidet, and it works very well as do the other two I have purchased (which are still going strong in different bathrooms). Once you use this, using paper seems barbaric! The other two Bio Bidets, being earlier models are a little sturdier, have head cleaning setting this unit does not, and separate spray direction and water pressure knobs. This newer Slim Edge design has just one control knob for spray direction with the water pressure increasing the more you turn it. The newer Slim Edge allows you existing seat to sit on the bowl flush, without having to uses the provided spacers created from the thicker older units elevating the back of the toilet seat. Quality of hardware is still good, although the plastic as the name implies is slimer, and a bit flimsy. But it works great and is an economical entry level bidet. I have had this thing maybe a few hours and I honestly dont think I can live without it now. Super simple install with a screwdriver (for the toliet seat screws) and cresent wrench large enough to fit you toliet supply hose. The fitting at the tank will be the largest. Recommend shutting the valve off first and flushing the tank until its empty. This will prevent any unnecessary water spillage. It will also allow you to see if your shut off valve is functional. Sometiems the valves dont shut off all the way or at all so be careful Immediately after installing it my morning coffee said it was time. So I took a seat on my throne and deposited my gold for the sewer gods. Make sure you take notice to which direction you need to turn it for front or back. 👀 The rinse wasn't freezing but it was powerful enough that I literally felt like Injust stepped out of the shower. Amazing. So simple, so basic, so awesome. It may be colding in winter months when the lines get more ground temp tonthem but for now Im 💯 satisfied. We will order another for the shore home next week. We purchased the one were the entire hangle turns, not the one with the knob. ... show more

Pros: - My butt it’s very clean and I’m using less toilet paper - Installation was easy - It looks sleek Cons: - The aim of the feminine wash setting is further back than the butt wash setting - The pressure can be intense past the lowest setting - Getting fully clean involves wiggling your butt around as you sit and spray - If you sit too far back on the toilet, you can easily get poop on the bidet I don’t regret my purchase, but I would probably go for a more expensive bidet or a different entry level bidet instead of this one. ... show more
