Picture compares my slimmest 1/4 ratchet with stubby T30 to the bit set ratchet and stubby T30 bit. I work as a Porsche Tech and this bit set is a god send for tight areas. The stubby bits and the little ratchet have saved my butt multiple times when I have no space for a 1/4 ratchet. I’ve also put quite a bit of torque on the ratchet and it’s never once failed me. Literally half the cost as truck brands and twice the amount of bits. Can’t recommend this tool enough for anyone that works on German cars. Where have these half cut bits been all my life?!? Definitely not something you need all the time, but once you see how well they can work in tight spaces you'll buy a couple of sets to have a spare handy. I'm on 3 sets (one in the tool box, one in a desk drawer and one in the truck). Don't get me started on the tool truck quality for a fraction of the cost - VIM makes some of my favorite go-to ratchets and this one is no exception. ... show more

This is a good deal the tool trucks sale these for $240 range, my only concern is the case is black not blue, i dont care about the color just hope its the same quality as the blue case ones the tool trucks sale. Basically im saying i know 3 people with this tool and all the cases are blue on the outside, mine from amazon came in black. Update...had this for awhile now. And no issues. I've had this set at work for about a year. Not something you need every day, so I can't really speak to the longevity. The bits feel heavy in the hand despite the half length, so probably made of some good steel. Each bit is stamped with the size and S2. The ratchet is compact and fairly smooth. The bits do not push through the head. The open design makes it easier to push bits out of the head if needed. Doesn't have many unneeded bits.
