I normally wear a X or XX but got the XXX based upon Amazon recommendation. It fits great but if I had gone with a smaller size it would be too tight in the arms.. I only wore it 2 times because we had a very warm winter. I have worn down jackets since the 70,s in places like Maine and upstate NY and this appears to be a good one ... show more

I was looking for a coat that would keep me warm on the coldest days and I found it. The only thing I'm not 100% on is the size of the pockets and the slightly small cut of the coat.

I read the reviews before buying one. I had one when I was in my 20’s. And I like all the good reviews. I can wear only a t-shirt underneath and stay very warm. Even the hood keeps my head warm. I was wearing something to keep my ears warm. Lucky I got my coat and snow pants before that snow hit us in Texas in 2025. I went outside when it was in the low 20’s for over a hour. Just sitting in the chair. I could feel a little coldness in my left pocket and in the legs. But I was not wearing any gloves either. And when it was snowing. Some of the snow went in my pockets. But over all I was very thankful to found this one big enough with 25% off. I would order a red one next time for a back up. If they have my size in 4XL. ... show more

I love the coat so far, As winter is coming, it has been in the low 30’s and this coat has kept me very warm, almost too warm out hiking. My intent was to buy a mid weight jacket for the fall but I can easily handle the Winter with this jacket. Love the down feel. Great hood and blocks the wind great. I have not been in the rain yet.
