  • Can I give it 6 stars?
I just bought this coat based on other reviews and seeing multiple people wearing HH during a trip to Europe. This coat is extremely light weight, almost like a rain shell, but kept me nice and warm in -8 degree Colorado weather. Just spent an hour outside and not one chill. My face was frozen but my torso and arms felt like I was inside by the fire. The coat itself looks great and fits perfect in my 6’4” 230lbs frame. I have long arms and muscular shoulders, kind of a V frame build. The XXL had perfectly lengthens sleeves, torso length was spot on and I don’t feel constructed in my shoulders. There’s some extra room around the mid section but everything fits me like that. I could wear a sweatshirt under the coat and only the shoulders get a bit tight but not bad. Really you dont need another bulky layer with how warm this coat is. I can’t say enough good things about it. It’s HH quality and will keep you warm and looking good. Buy it and be happy. ... show more

  • 100% recommend this JACKET!!!
Size: 3X-Large Color: 597 Navy
I’m 6ft and about 275lbs. This jacket fits like it was tailor made for me. Unbelievable how well it’s made and how good it feels. I feel 100% more comfortable in this light jacket than I do in any other of my similar jackets. I have North Face, Patagonia, 686, Marmot and Columbia. This is miles above my other coats. It’s is breathable (no sweating whatsoever) and waterproof. The fleece lined inside chest pocket is perfect for my iPhone pro max. All the pockets are perfect and zip up well . For the price point this jacket CANNOT be beat. If I would’ve tried this on in a store and it was $350 I still would’ve bought it. My wife loves the way it looks on me. I got a compliment from a stranger the first time I wore it. Everybody at work tells me how nice of a jacket it is. I will buy more in other colors and maybe even another in case something happens to this one. I love it. Cannot believe the quality for the money. BUY IT!! ... show more

  • GREAT JACKET
Size: Small Color: 853 Grey Fog
I was looking for a waterPROOF jacket. Not water resistant, but I wanted to stay dry in a down pour. This jacket exceeds expectations. I have a high energy dog that needs walked in all weather. The other day was 47deg and raining sideways. Perfect for my first test. When I got home from a 30min walk, I was dry as a bone- even in the shoulder areas. The midlayer is perfect for warmth. Add a sweater or fleece layer and it will work in winter. The high neck keeps warmth in and the hood was great for protection- at least on my peanut head. Sizing: I am 5'8", 145lbs, athletic/slim/lean build. I typically wear XS or S in jackets because most big brand companies make clothing that could fit refrigerators. I am between sizes XS and S. I ordered a Small and it fits absolutely perfect. The reviews that say the arm pits fit tight is accurate so if you are between sizes -> size up for sure. The best part is I got this on sale. I will be buying another without the lining for the late spring and summer months. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. ... show more

  • Unbelievably Warm
I read some reviews on how warm it was and the sceptic in me didn't totally believe it, I was looking for a new light jacket, It was delivered today and its 30 degrees out so I gave it a try. Ok it is warm but the crazy part is everywhere this jacket didn't cover was frozen. for how light this jacket feels it shouldn't be as warm as it is. I'm a 6" 2" 285 expower lifter big shoulders, big chest and larger than average arm size everything i try on is a hit or miss, I purchased the 4xl even though the size chart said 3xl. and 4xl is the perfect size with a little left to wear a sweat shirt under if i wanted. great look, great fitting and warm. Im buying the red one next. ... show more

  • Good Looking and Snug Coat
I would love to give this 5-stars, because this is a very good looking coat. But the reason I cannot is based on a couple issues. First of all, I usually wear coats, shirts, and pullovers in the large to extra large sizes. Being 5'9" , 210 lbs. with a muscular build does have its challenges. I ordered the XL based on previous reviews. I am glad I did. As others have stated, the sleeves and armpits are snug. The body of the coat was a tad snug as well (belly) , but not uncomfortable. There's no way I'll be able to layer with this coat though. A sweatshirt isn't fitting under this coat for me. I test drove this coat (wearing only a thin shirt underneath) on my usual 4-mile walk right out of the packaging. It was about 35 degrees and sunny here in the Mid-Atlantic. The coat was comfortable for sure. It kept me warm enough. It stopped whatever breeze there may have been. But here's one of the detractions, it trapped moisture more than I thought it was designed for. I arrived home with a wet shirt and moisture droplets trapped in the clear ID tag on the back of the nape. The entire inside of the coat was damp, and my phone in the chest pocket was dripping wet. It trapped more moisture than this is supposedly designed to do. So, 4-stars from me because it's a good looking coat...And you better order a size up for sure. I'll give it another go today and update the review if need be. Using this as a casual coat without an energetic walk may be more appropriate, because it is attractive. ... show more

  • Comfortable for all climates and conditions.
I bought this after spending a week sailing in the rain with inferior rain gear. It was absolutely a rage purchase, because spending 5 days soaking wet will drive someone to Amazon to get the right tool for the job. It had served me well and I should’ve bought it much earlier. HH gear is always good quality, so you don’t have to worry about that. It’s got just enough insulation where you don’t stick to the I side of the jacket, but not too much where you’re warm. It’s also just a good, lightweight jacket or shell (I think that’s what people call it. I’m from florida, so I don’t know jacket terminology.) I’ve got a could long sails ahead of me, and I’ll absolutely be bringing this along. If you’re on the fence, just get it. You won’t be disappointed. ... show more
