    • I APPRECIATE THIS WEED-EATER πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘‹
On inspection it was packed good and on time. The quality seems to be there and will revisit this review if it changes. I hooked it up to my Craftsman WS4200 weed-eater and it fit very easily. It performs as intended and I’m happy with my purchase. I mainly bought this for tall weeds in my barn lots. It worked great. ... show more

I usually have to weed eat the bank in the pictures but my weed eater attachment was broken and I was waiting for a part, but grass doesn't stop growing and I had to do something about the bank so I ordered this brushcutter attachment. I LOVE it! When I used the weed eater it took me forever to cut the grass on this bank, it wore the string down so fast I was constantly having to stop and reload or feed more string, total hassle. I will never have to use the string trimmer attachment for this bank again! The handle it comes with is so much better than the original round one that came on my equipment, it's much eaier to control and keep level when cutting. The brushcutter works on my Huskavarna weedeater perfectly,I just wish I had found it sooner, I could of saved hours cleaning up different areas in my yard. I recommend this product. ... show more

    • Works for small stuff
I don't know if I would call this a brush cutter, it's good for thick weeds and wild raspberry bushes. With a sharpened blade, good for things that are too big for the weed whip attachment. Will cut if sharpened maybe up to around a 1/4", if trying to cut anything bigger you have to let it gnaw on it for a while. heavier than the weed whip attachment, expect sore arms if using for an extended period of time. Still a good usable tool within its capabilities, I'm happy with it and it does what I need it to do. ... show more

    • It works great!!
My old brush cutter finally wore out and stripped the gears out of the head. I found this and replaced the blade to a better one. I used this for about 4 hours on various brush and it worked great. A great replacement for a broken brush cutter attachment. I was using this on a troy built trimmer but it died and I got a craftsman trimmer and it worked fine on it. A great replacement for the price, since most box stores want WAY more for this! ... show more

    • Good addition to your yard maintenance arsenal
I have a Black Max 4 stroke trimmer that I use this with. This has made short work of multiple large patches of over growth. This attachment comes with a four (4) blade cutting head and attaches to the trimmer base. I made short work of brambles, poison ivy, invasive Japanese honeysuckle, small diameter saplings, tall grasses, and other undergrowth. I managed to cut through some larger saplings with some elbow grease but all were about 1 1/4 inch and smaller. When it's spinning, it sounds like a small circular saw. I've cut back about 1/8 an acre with this and it has held up very well. I think next time I might try the attachment with a tri-blade cutter to see what the best setup is, but for the price, I'd buy this again. ... show more

    • replacement was sent promptly, within one day of my call to customer service
I received the brush cutter attachment and installed it on my craftsman straight shaft weed whacker. It installed properly and easily. when I started the engine and the brush cutter started to rotate, it began to squeak and rattle. I check the blade and it was installed properly and was tight.. I checked the connection to the weedwhacker and it was connected correctly. When i started it up again it rattled and squeaked loudly, sounded like it was going to fly apart. I called customer service and they promptly sent a replacement. They also advised me that this was a no return item. The service has been great and Amazon has stood behind their products. I am very happy with Amazon service. I hardly ever shop anywhere else anymore. ... show more

    • Hope for a larger blade
This attachment initially works well with my 16” Greenworks 40V string trimmer. I love the variable speed as it gives longer work-time with each battery charge. It is also WAY quieter than the string trimmer. My only wish was that it came with a 12” blade instead of the 8” blade. I’m actually using it to cut grass in a marshy waterfront area so I don’t need brush cutting power. Except for the small cutting area, I loved not having to deal with the string, its feed, its jamming in the spool, or needing to change spools during use! Quite liberating! Highly recommended! ... show more

Review Image by Paul R
Demolished 1/16 acre of 6ft + tall brush in under 3 hours. Only reason for 4 stars, not 5 is the driveshaft on the actual troybilt trimmer broke in the 2 uses in which this attachment was used. The 4 sided blade is dull, which may have contributed to the driveshaft breaking. 80 tooth blade since purchased for thicker brush. ... show more
