  • Good trike, good power, really good value
This trike is a very good value for the price. I got the blue qlife 750W trike for $719 with extended warranty. Came with baskets lights and horn. Single speed gear, which is fine for beginners. Narrow tires. My wife is initially had a problem controlling it b/c shes not an experienced rider. but 30 min in a parking in training and she got the hang of it. We took it for a 7 mi ride and in the end the battery was down 1 bar. She had a great time not worrying about balancing. It was easy. I also took it up a steep hill where my 500W Lectric usually has problems. This trike had no problems getting up the hill. It was packaged well and assembly took around 2.5 hours. And I didn't need the manual. Everything came pretty well tuned. So after assembly and pumping tires, it was ready to go, without adjustment. Had to fully charge the battery of course. It seems pretty sturdy and was easy to figure out the controls w/o manual. The one gripe I have is that the crank arm length is kind of short. I'll report if it can withstand the test of time and prolonged use. For this price and features and power, it can't be beat. And I shopped around. ... show more

  • Directly after assembly and 1 test drive review. And its good.
This may be a little long winded but will hopefully cover any information you might be wanting before purchasing. If you are looking at purchasing this tricycle, then your budget to do so is probably like mine, on the lower side. I bought this for my 80 year mama who doesnt get around that well. She is just 5 foot. This tricycle says to fit people as short as 4'9" (more on that below). At the time of purchase this Tricycle cost me $709 with free shipping. Which pretty effectively makes it the cheapest one on Amazon. Keep that in mind as you read. Because during the assembly, I didnt have real high hopes that it would be as nice as it was in the pictures. Side note: When you open the box it comes in, take a second and marvel at how well its packaged. It took me a few moments to even decide where to begin to get it outta the box. Assembly was very smooth with the video. The bike seems to be mostly tuned at the plant. So you are more or less just attaching the misc. stuff. The handlebars were a bit confusing until I pulled up the video. Then it made sense. There were a few things that were a little bent or misaligned. Nothing that wasnt easy to fix. Most the the attachment points have enough play to get things where they need to be. This was still WAY better then I expected. When you purchase the cheapest of anything, most of the time it borders on frustration and regret. You'll get neither with this bike. The hardware seems to be stainless steel. Which is great. They shouldnt rust. My only complaint is that the washers are just straight washers. They really needed to be locking washers. With moderate use, I dont see how some of these screws will not back out and loosen a bit. The only problem I encountered was one of the chain guides was bent and the screws were loose. Had to get a pair of pliers and bend a couple of places and realigned the guards and put the chain back on. They include 2 allen wrenches but these screws were of a different size. Thankfully I have many of my own and found one that fit. Id suggest looking first at the chains and guides to make sure they are straight and tight. I didnt notice mine till I tried to ride it the first time. I had to tilt the bike on its tail so the front tire was pointing towards the ski. I had to use pillows to protect the rear fenders cause I didnt feel like taking them off to do this quick fix. But wouldnt hurt to have some extra allen wrenches and if possible, locking washing before you start. Functionality is pretty good. I did a test ride with my mama in mind. There were some issues. First, the bike is supposed to be usable by people as short as 4'9". I dont know about that. The seat is really high. Even on its lowest setting. Stepping into the bike isnt really a problem but the seat is... and its horrible. Its tall and uncomfortable. Even at 5'10" I cant just sit on the seat. I have to step up onto it. It has a "shock" on the post but even at 200 lbs, it doesnt really work. It compresses but doesnt spring back up and doesnt bounce. I highly doubt my mom will be able to get into the seat. So I am going to replace it with a wider, lower and more comfortable seat. Even if I was going to be using this bike for myself, Id still replace the seat. Keep in mind that the seat is in the way of removing the battery pack. This included seat pops forward and out of the way. Dont know if you could find I could find a better seat with this same function. It has a quick disconnect on the seat post, so guessing I will just have to remove the seat and post to get the battery pack out if needed. As for the electric ride function of the bike, its fast and powerful. I drove it on gravel, asphalt and thick tall grass. It has enough power and torque for all of it. Again, while doing the test ride I was thinking bout my mom. The speed control is lacking. There isnt a lot of veritable speed when you turn the nob. It goes from nothing to pretty quick. Not like spin the tires in gravel quick but for an elderly person, it could catch them a bit off guard. It has 3 modes but I didnt really notice a difference between the 3. Couldnt tell you which one has less torque. I didnt dig into the paperwork but there is no mention that I could see on the sales page to explain the level differences. Sadly, at no time did I notice a pairing of the pedal drive and the electric drive. But I only did maybe 1000 foot test ride. I kinda expected you to be able to "assist". But if you are not pedaling as fast as the electric motor is going, you are just spinning your feet. Again, this might be something one needs to learn when to help and when not to. The biggest draw back to the pedal drive is, no gears. Pedaling the bike takes some decent leg strength. I dont foresee my mama being able to pedal this bike at all with as old and weak as she is. But thats why it has electric drive. Overall I am seriously impressed with the build quality, materials and functionality of this bike. Keep in mind that most of my "issues" are based on the needs of an elderly mom. For any normal person, this bike should work amazing. I believe with a few changes to the seat, OH and I am going to buy larger pedals. The ones it comes with are kid sized. With these two changes I suspect my mom will be able to use the bike effectively. ... show more

  • Great trike for the money.
Color: Black Style: Standards
Everything arrived in good shape. I needed the video to clarify the instructions in the manual. It was fun and fairly easy to put it together. The design, quality and workmanship of the trike is very good and the pedal assist option is great for me, since I am 81 years old and need some exercise. I am very hqappy with my purchase. ... show more

  • A great purchase minor fixable issues
Color: Black Style: Standards
This e-trike works well. I did use the assembly video as the paper instructions are not that clear in describing the steps. It has torque, but you get used to it. The size fits great, and the ride is smooth. It is fun and has a high-quality build. I have an issue with the right pedal not attaching, but this would be an easy fix by either buying new pedals or getting a new pedal stem. I will reach out to the seller and see if I can get a replacement right pedal or stem. I enjoyed that the e-trike came with touch-up paint, as I can be a little rough when assembling products. The black color is great. All in all, I am happy with my purchase and will use the e-trike a lot. ... show more

  • Good quality for the price
This is my first E-bike. I wanted the trike so I can try to get back to getting outside and get some physical exercise after I sustained injuries from a sever car accident. It looks good, has good power. It’s easy to pedal on its own or with the electric assist. When I get tired I can just coast back like a scooter. I love all the options. It came with 2 baskets and the mirror which I thought was a plus for the price. My husband changed out the seat because I needed one with some back support but the one it came with was nice and comfortable. The only negative I have found is the battery placement. The battery is under the seat. The seat it comes with flips up so you can take the battery out to charge it. Since we replaced the seat we can’t take the battery out but it can still be charged while on the bike. Not really a deal breaker for me but something that some may need to know. I did push the speed on it in my neighborhood and got it up to 16mph. Not sure I would go any faster than that on this kind of bike. It’s a great option to get around town if you don’t have or can’t drive. For us it’s just for fun. I hope to upgrade to a better model before long but I love it. ... show more
