I like the colors of the dark wood and it is very heavy and sturdy. I am an older female and was able to put it together. I had to have help to place it upright on my floor because it is heavy. Not wanting to work on the floor I put it together on top of my old table, using my electric drill/screwdriver. Value can not be beat.
