As a 4-pack, they provide more hooks than what I really need - 2 would probably be more than enough, but a 4 pack for $13 with the strap makes this a great deal. Keep in mind - if you're out hunting and up in a tree a) you generally don't have (or want) access to the back side of the tree and b) are you really carrying that much stuff to justify using 4 double hooks? The hooks themselves are really sturdy and seem well made (mostly) and the strap/buckle seems solid, too, and holds pretty well. The hooks are coated with a shiny rubber/plastic coating - the kind, in my experience, tears and pulls off after a short while and multiple uses, hence the (mostly) part of my previous statement. That said, while the rubber part is a nice touch, if it comes off I'd still use the hooks. And if I find I really do like the rubber coating then it is easily replaced with spray-on rubber coating or some camo tape or something. The hooks are large enough for easy use and hold backpack straps/handles, gun slings, bow or whatever, and it's nice to be able to position these wherever on the tree you want - just make sure you do so before you tighten the strap as these have points on the back side of the hook that grab the tree and help keep them in place. My order also came with a lot of screws and two different kinds of wall anchors, which I thought was kind of wierd. So I guess even though this is advertised as a tree stand strap/hooks for hunting, etc., you could hang the hooks in your house somewhere? Here's the added bonus I found with these - when I'm hunting in a tree I use a safety harness and recently got the Boaton Fall Protection Tree Strap (https://a.co/d/aRCV6X5), which makes it a lot easier and more secure to connect your rope or harness to the tree. Although that strap is wider, the slots in these hooks accommodate it almost perfectly! Meaning the strap I used for my safety harness can be used for these hooks, too - one less strap/thing to carry into the woods and set up. Another great advantage - these are easy to set up and take down; no screwing a hook into the tree and trying to get it out at the end of your hunt. I definitely recommend these!
