  • Great value
Style Name: Climbing Treestand
I got the Goliath. I love this stand. Quiet and light. Seems heavy duty and sturdy. I’m very happy with the stand. The stand is straight forward for assembly. But the instructions are crap. Watch the YouTube video. The bungies on this new style summit concern me as they double as a seat back rest holder to a tree and they hold your stand together when transporting the stand backpack style. Seems like the bungies May wear out sooner than I would hope. The “teather” that holds the top platform to the bottom platform (to keep you from losing bottom while in tree) seems cheap. I’ll probably replace with better rope. Overall- great product. Absolutely recommend it. Aside from a cheap teather and possibly weak bungies - this thing is very heavy duty and quiet. I’m new to the stirrup design and I question the longevity of the plastic. They make cloning the tree easy. I hated dealing with the older webbing and getting my stiff boot inside. The stirrup is much faster. As another reviewer mentioned - the padding does not wrap all the way around like it used to. Now I’ll hve to get that foam pipe insulation and tape it on- to protect my gun from getting beat up. ... show more

Absolutely the best stand for long sits.

  • Love it.
Style Name: Climbing Treestand
I am 6 foot 3 and it's comfortable for sitting for hours. I worried about safety with my old climber, but with the added weight this holds I feel more at ease when up 15 feet or so. Just make sure you use your safety equipment. Twenty years ago a buddy fell out of his ladder stand because he wasn't belted to the tree with safety equipment. He is a quadriplegic now because of the fall. I will not take a chance, and have faith that this stand is safe. ... show more

  • Good stand
Style Name: Climbing Treestand
Best stand I’ve purchased, good quiet stand and by far more comfortable than any of my other ladder or hang on stands. easy to pack into the timber and set up anytime. Sturdy and very safe has sharp teeth to dig in and keep you secured.

  • Great climber
Style Name: Climbing Treestand
Worth every penny, this is built for big & tall people, which gives you alot of movement. I wouldn’t take this over a mile though the woods, it’s just to heavy for that.

  • Awesome stand and easy to use .
Style Name: Climbing Treestand
Very nice stand . Summit has been around a long time and so have I lol . Climbing stands have come a long way in my 51 years . This stand does exactly what it supposed to and I’m a big guy so I needed the room and durability. 25 feet is my max and I feel completely comfortable in this deer stand . The only flaw which is very small is the zip up padding . They are very comfortable but the zippers will dangle as you are packing it in and out the woods . I used some Camo medial tape and fixed it but if you were to buy these separately it’s $59 plus tax and shipping so for that kinda money I shouldn’t have to tape anything. But it’s very strong and I highly recommend it . ... show more

  • Best stand built
Style Name: Climbing Treestand
This is my third Goliath and I couldn’t be happier. Stand is safe, light and comfortable. Only complaint is the flimsy back pack straps. I’ve already replaced.

  • Rock solid climber
Style Name: Climbing Treestand
What I dislike is the seat. Wish was like my API and I could zip off the backrest. Switched out for my API seat. Do to the taper towards the back of the stand of It is hard to keep the seat far enough forward. Some kind of loop on front of seat and hook on frame may be a solution. Stand digs into treebark so deep it is hard to break loose some time. Good thing for safety but bad for stealth. Wish they had padded wraps around the whole top rail. Would help with noise sinceI keep my bow across there. Ended up buying more rail wraps and zip locked them down. Would buy again. ... show more
