I was so impressed with the Treatlife nightlight that we got for my daughter that I gave some of their other products a look - and because we had recently remodeled the kitchen and were getting "smart" everythings, this seemed worth trying. The most important takeaway from this is that, because it's smart/Wifi enabled, it requires that neutral wire that you may or may not have in the outlet already. Fortunately, ours did, so it was a simple plug and play. While the light was an easy set up through the app, this one had trouble connecting. The light went straight away - no delay, no hiccup. This one, not so much. I'm not sure if it's user error or I got a bad batch, but there it is: it took 6 tries for the app to finally register, and then it dropped the connection. It took restarting the phone I was connecting it to and starting the process over again before I was able to get it synced. The good news is, once everything was playing nice, Alexa imported the information from the app and the rest is history. Overall, not a perfect setup due to the app, but the device seems to be working. So far, so good. ... show more

I purchased 2 smart ceiling fan switches. Easy to install and setup. Nice quality, fits and looks good. This is one of the few ceiling fan smart switches available without light buttons (my fan does not have lights). Works well with Alexa and Google Home. I like the timer and schedule features in the app. Developers need to use spellcheck, timer gives message that states "Fan will Trun off in..." Come on, "Trun"?? ... show more

They work great and easy to install. Only negative and is the plastic surround is pretty thick so doesn’t work well with all cover plates. I am referring to the area the wall plate covers.

The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I have installed many different brands and even though the cost is low, the quality seems to be just as high. Really big bonus that you can keep your existing traveler on a 3way circuit further decreasing price.

I have replaced every switch in our house with TreatLife switches. I am sure I will never recoup the cost but I like being able to set timers to control things like heat lamps and fans in the bathrooms with multiple kids. These work great and allow you to control fan speed without a chain hanging down from the fixture. I like this better than the remotes some manufacturers offer since this can be controlled from the walker you phone and I don’t have to worry about kids losing the remote. ... show more
