I am impressed with this fountain. I use it indoors in my small sun-room that has ceramic tile so slight splashing is not a problem. It's not overly large but just right for my sun room bump out (6' x 12') from my living room. It’s a beautiful single piece of ceramic with great color and nice orange tinge on the rims of the bowls. I initially did not understand where the water reservoir was (it's in the large hole in the side) and filled it to overflow. After that faux-pas came the fine tuning. I didn't like the bright led lamp so I put in some glass aquarium rocks (3" sharp colored glass translucent fragments) on top of it to reduce the harsh light and add color. It now looks great! Then came the issues with the sound it made. I added igneous rocks or glass fragments (mentioned previously) in the water stream in the other two bowls to cut down on the splashing sound. Rounded rocks/igneous or glass fragments placed over the stream cut down on the "deep bowl" sound. Finally, there is also a "toilet bowl" sound as the water falls from the third bowl into the water reservoir in the base. I found a large plastic bottle (in this case an empty bottle of vitamins) that I placed in the reservoir and allowed it to float. The water that fell into the reservoir would often or most times hit the bottle and cut down on the "toilet bowl" sound. Now the sound from the fountain is much more subtle and natural. The whole effect is great and made this product something I would recommend without hesitation. By the way, my cats love it too! However since I have just received this product in the last few days I can say nothing regarding its reliability -- so time will tell on that one.

This blue ceramic fountain was a lucky find for me after an extensive search for a stylish yet simple fountain. It's just the right size for my patio and the varying shades of blue are a beautiful addition to my outdoor decor. The assembly was simple as the fountain only requires the placement of the top tier bowl and attaching the included pump. The water flows at good rate; not too hard or soft and sounds great. However, the pump is not adjustable. So if you'd prefer to adjust your flow rate you may consider purchasing an additional pump at a home improvement store. The LED light is a nice extra feature, and is especially dazzling reflecting off the water at night. The overall quality appears very good, especially for a fountain at this price point. The fountain was extremely well packaged, arrived undamaged, and shipping was exceptionally fast. I would recommend the purchase of this fountain.

Easy to put together. Clear instructions. Looks beautiful. However, the reason for only 4 out of 5 stars is that the finish is already starting to chip off. Purchased in February but did not put outside till March because backyard was still being landscaped. After 1 week outside, the finish started to chip off. See photo. It is a beautiful piece however and the look and sound is great. I had left over pavers from the landscaper and built it a stand to sit on. Disappointed in the chips and hope no more decaying occurs. It was extremely well packaged when it arrived.

Unfortunately, should have paid attention to the reviews that stated the finish cracked badly. We got this in 2017, kept it in a covered porch, put it out on our patio less than 6 months ago and this is what it looks like now. I had assumed I might have to replace the pump occasionally, but it still works fine, for what that's worth! For this to be what happens to an item sold as being an outdoor product is unacceptable. Contacted Customer Service, and they only said it's past the 6-month warranty.

Horrible product. August 2017, We bought this fountain and put it in a rock garden. We did not fill the bowls or plug in the pump as we needed electric installed. April 2018, we went to hook up the motor and fill the bowls with water. The base is severely cracked. I contacted Lamps Plus and they will to nothing as it is past their 60 day return policy. In addition, they told me that although I bought an outdoor fountain, it should not be left outside. Total waste of $250. Big piece of junk!

I initially gave this product a five-star review. The fountain is gorgeous. But be warned...the pump only lasts a few hours. In my case, less than seven. I only turn the fountain on for special occasions and never leave it running. The pump lasted less than seven hours total running time. Now I have to try to find a replacement pump.

This turned out a little smaller than expected and for the intended space but it looks good and works well. Hardly any chance of a leak since it is totally self enclosed in a ceramic pot. Which is good for indoors. It is, however, a little loud, even with the pump turned to low volume. Most of the water sound resonates from the main section which has an access hole in the back and acts as the reservoir. But I like it. Going to put a WiFi plug on it so I can say, "Alexa, turn off the fountain."
