I am very impressed with this Echo fly fishing rod I I own a 8 eight line weights 9 ft. The rod is a beautiful blank very deep maroon reddish blank made out of graphite. Very easy with the four piece put it together they have little dots and they actually line up perfectly. Great action fast and smooth my opinion. This this fly rod has made me USA Vancouver Washington. Fly reel is cast aluminum reel easy to work on put fly lines on it and you can change them and get spare spool. The real constructed nice it's got a great drag more than you would need. It exactly how they describe it it's got everything on it when I opened it up that's all you have to do is put a fly on and throw it in the water I like that. I didn't add any pictures yet because I'm going to bring it to the battlefield pretty soon and see what I can catch okay thanks for reading my review hope it helped. ... show more

    • The Top Eyelet on the Tip was on Sideways and bent.

As stated in the title, the top eyelet on the rod tip was put on sideways and was bent. Rod is unusable and was returned. Very disappointed. I'll just order a TFO NXT black label combo for a hundred bucks less than this one.

I ordered 2 of these and those both came with the same issue and they will both be returned for the same issue. They both came with massive chunks of cork missing from the handle. This is not the quality i expected from a $300 rod. I am very disappointed to say the least
