This lightweight wheelchair is exactly what we were looking for. It’s incredibly easy to fold and transport, and at just over 20 lbs, it’s not a struggle at all to lift into the car. The compact design makes it perfect for travel, appointments, and everyday outings. The chair feels sturdy and well-made despite being ultra-light, and it’s very comfortable for the user. We purchased the 18” chair, and it is fantastic. There was an issue with one of the brakes, but the seller got back to us quickly after contacting them and completely resolved the issue to our satisfaction. Fantastic customer service from Medorol! The chair is so much lighter than most on the market, folds super easy and rolls like a dream without much effort. For reference, we purchased this for our adult special needs daughter who is 5’3” and weighs 159 lbs. It’s perfect for her size, and the seat is comfortable and has enough room. I would say the 18” can accommodate someone a bit bigger and taller than her since it’s 2” larger than the other one they sell. Her dad who is 6’ tall and 200 lbs. sat in it with no problems, and the chair was still easy to roll. The chair has brakes that you pull up and hold for temporary braking, or if you need to keep the chair stable, you pull the brakes downwards until they snap to lock the chair in place when an individual is sitting or standing. It feels well made and has an adjustable seat belt for safety. It also has a small pouch on one side for a phone or small item and a bigger pouch on the back to store bigger things. The handles are adjustable to different heights so taller individuals who are pushing the chair don’t have to lean down and put strain on their backs. The wheels roll smoothly on most surfaces. We used it on the street, sidewalks, rocky areas, and indoors on carpet and tile floors and had no issues. Of course, very rough terrains may be a bit different, but we haven’t tried since we wanted this chair for errands, doctor’s appointments and short travel distances. It folds in basically one step and has a retracting handle like a suitcase that you can extend to just pull the chair along and not have to carry it when not in use. The foot rest is sturdy and comfortable as you don’t have two separate ones. It folds up to get it out of the way to sit or get up from the chair. You do need to pull it forward about an inch before completely opening the chair so it doesn’t get stuck when the chair snaps open into place. The arm rests fold back up as well so a person may also get in and out from the sides. I did add a cup holder pouch that has straps that velcro to each side on the handles, which was easy to do. I’m also able to hang a backpack with essentials on the frame with no issues. This chair is stable, compact, well made and maneuvers great! It also fit in the trunk of my smaller vehicle just fine. Definitely recommend it!

Lightweight and easy to use. Braking could be a little easier to use and foot rest could be a little larger. Durability & size is good. Even with the brake and foot rest minor issues this was a good buy. Serves what we need.

This particular chair didn’t work for me. The brakes rubbed on the wheels and the footrest is too high up and not adjustable for someone with bad knees. It was hard to maneuver on carpet and I just didn’t feel safe in it. I can see where it might be perfect for a child or a smaller elderly person.
