So far I love it. We have inly set it up the house for now, but it was very easy set up - maybe 5 mins max. No assembly or tools required! Pulled it from the box and unfolded it and it was super easy to set up. I love that it folds down to be compact so I can store it in the shed in the winter. I am 5’7” and it is plenty long enough for me. It is also high quality metal - thick metal with strong metal snaps and clicks to hold it in place. I do imagine that anyone taller than 6 foot might find it a tad short - but you can adjust the width for taller or shorter people. The hammock I got in Colombia was too long for it - however it came with nice hammock that works just fine. After we have used it outside for a while I will come and update my review again. ... show more

    • A great small hammock for my little yard
This hammock is perfect for my needs. I'm a smaller person, and this fits me really well. The stand is easy to set up or fold, and very light to move around the yard, so I can follow the sun. I have not had any issues with the attachment rings as noted by other reviewers, and they are welded stainless, so I believe this has been improved.     • Not Worth the Price or the trouble

The hammock was not able to fit the stand. And believe me, I tried everything! It was just too short. It is not "portable" unless you're The Hulk. The stand is much too large and extremely awkward to be easily moved around. There is absolutely NO WAY the bag sent to put it in for transport is going to be together once you arrive to your destination. I don't care if it's across the street. My guess is the bag wouldn't even survive having the stand be put into it (I didn't even try). And I would NEVER trust the design of the stand to hold 800 pounds! But keep in mind, I couldn't test it because the hammock was far too short to even attach to the frame. After getting the stand assembled, it was difficult to break it back down. It is easy to see that after several hours of use, it would be near impossible to disassemble it without tools and gloves to protect your fingers. I would say this stand is better being left where it is after assembling. The quality and color of the hammock itself is very nice. But from my experience, this whole set up is not worth the price or the trouble. ... show more

It's a little difficult to get the pegs lined up with the bars for set up, but it's doable. also, the hammock is shaped kind of like a cup so it's not quite as comfortable as more of a straight stretched hammock. When the hammock arrived I was so excited! The set up was easy and adjusting the height setting did also easy. I am how ever very disappointed in the quality of the hammock itself. The stand so far is great but the hammock started to break on SECOND and THIRD use. For reference I set the hammock up Thursday with no problems, used it Saturday afternoon, a strand broke. I used it Saturday evening another strand broke. The color is beautiful but the ropes are breaking, one strand at a time. I even take the hammock down and bring it in the house in the storage bag when I’m not using it to prevent weather damage. Will probably still keep the stand but will look into a different hammock because it does not hold up at all! If I could give half stars it would be 2.5 stars. Update: Last photo is from today, a few months out from purchase. Hammock is getting thrown away now. ... show more
