  • Impressive Design & Attention To Detail!
I originally ordered this garden rake so that I would have a spare around the farm during the summer for my landscaping and box gardens, and it has immediately become my absolute favorite, hands down. It assembled easily, and I was impressed that the head was held on with two bolts with jam nuts so it won't ever loosen or come off. That's a very important feature, and shows how well thought out every detail is. Compare to my other rake in the picture, where the steel sleeve is loose and will eventually allow the rake head to come out of the wood handle. I also like the short teeth on the backside of the rake head, which I will use to level garden soil before planting next spring. The handle is very sturdily built of heavy tubing, and the rake head feels the same way. Nothing cheap or flimsy here! And at $28, this by far surpasses the $44 hardware store rake I've been using. Well done! ... show more

  • Strong and Easy to Assemble
This rake arrived unassembled, but putting it together was simple. You just screw the handle pieces together, then use the included wrench to attach and tighten the bolts near the rake head. It only took a few minutes. I’ve always preferred a tines rake over the fan-out style, and this one is exactly why—they’re stronger and more effective. This rake has some weight to it, which makes it feel sturdy and durable. I tested it right away in the yard, and it easily pulled up random weeds. I can already tell it’s going to be a big help with tougher jobs like wet leaves, acorns, and anything heavier that regular rakes struggle with. Another feature I really like is the adjustable handle. You can remove a section if you need it shorter, which makes it versatile depending on the task. Overall, it’s a solid, heavy-duty rake that feels built to last. ... show more

  • Adjustable Garden Rake
The end of this rake is heavy duty and is the bulk of the weight of the whole rake. It will fare well through dirt and other jobs it sinks its teeth into. The handle is on 3 sections of stainless steel poles that screw into each other so you can adjust the height by eliminating a pole if you wish. The last pole has a rubber grip section that I wish were a bit longer. I’m never a fan of the screw together poles as they inevitably start to unscrew during use. I with there were a better way to lock them into place. The instructions do tell you a way to order their one piece pole at an extra cost. The rake portion feels more heavy duty than the poles for sure so we will see how it holds up but it feels sturdy and not too heavy. Decent value but having to order their separate one piece pole to make it more sturdy lessens the value. ... show more

  • Workhorse of a rake for hard soil raking
This heavy duty rake is really long but luckily its length is adjustable by leaving off one of the metal screw-on segments of the handle to shorten its length. The rake head is bolted onto the metal handle by two study bolts and is made of a tempered metal that won't bend. On one side of the rake head the tines are long and cut deep, whereas flipping it over allows you to use short tines to rake dirt level. The rake is very large and a more suited to a large or tall person to use. But by adjusting the handle length, shorter people would feel comfortable with it. One other thing of concern is the handle's tubular diameter that is larger/thicker than a regular rake handle. Something else to take into consideration. But I am short with normal sized hands and use it well. Real workhorse of a tool. ... show more

  • Good rake with excellent heft and strength
This rake is very sturdy and heavy-duty. The handle has to be assembled but each section screws together tightly and the rake head is attached with two included bolts and nuts. The package even includes a two socket wrenches to tighten the bolts for the handle as well as the tines on the rake head. The rake has good heft at around 4 lbs. and feels secure when raking. My only slight concern is that the rake tines are attached to the rake head by multiple bolts, which may rust and seems like they could be points-of-failure (instead of most molded, single piece rake heads one would buy at the box stores). But I like how this one is working and the price seems fair for the quality of the tool. ... show more

  • Easily assembled and heavy duty!
So far this rake is great! It is easily assembled, and the rake feels very sturdy and heavy duty. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the pole because it’s not a solid piece. But I should say that the company does offer a solid pole if it is a make it or break it for people. It came with all the tools necessary to secure the rake head to the pole. And despite the rake pole being hollow, it definitely felt sturdy. ... show more

  • Excellent Rake, multi purpose.
I had a rake like this I used for my garden, my chicken coop, and several other tasks, I love it so much that I used my old one to help me rake up and push a bonfire around and melted the rubber that held it together. This one should not have that issue! The only rubber on here is the tip. For the price, and the ability to put a different type handle if you prefer this is a great choice. IMO. Super easy to put together, comes with everything you need for that, even has instructions that are not really needed, but they do provide them. ... show more

  • durable rake that does the job right!
This is a sturdy rake with a great handle. The tines are strong and won't bend or break. It's perfect for adjusting my mulch or raking out the ant hills I've recently killed off. It's a good size and true to the advertisement.
