This is my first pellet grill and I love the convenience of it! With the app and included temperature probe, knowing exactly how hot the grill is running and where your food is at is amazing. Having the app alert you when your food has reached the target temperature makes grilling worry free. You don't have to hover over it the whole time while the party goes on without you. The non-stick grates are amazing, so easy to clean! It's like a whole different grilling experience. There is some temperature variation, can get up to 20 degrees hotter than target for a bit, but everything I've grilled has turned out great. Grill is super solid and feels high quality. My one complaint, and a common one for Traegers, is that I wish it gave more smoke flavor. Even on Super Smoke, there's frequently no visible smoke being generated and the smoke flavor is subtle. I ended up buying 2 smoke tubes to pump it up. Still, I love this grill. Like I said, it's my first pellet grill, don't know if there's another brand that gives you everything plus more smoke, but I'm happy enough with this one that I haven't bothered to look at others. ... show more

Don’t waste your money on one of these. They work pretty well for the first year then start falling apart. A single screw ( auger set screw) snapped off upon re-installation. Now I have to spend another $300 to fix it. Don’t believe the hype. If I had to do it over again I just would’ve gotten a Weber Genesis. Pretty sure that wouldn’t break after a year of use. ... show more
