I keep 1 in each car, 1 in the house & I have 1 spare (in case I leave one on my travels-which I'm prone to do). This is a very good umbrella for the price. It's sturdy and well made, doesn't feel cheap, and the open/close mechanism is responsive and quick. It provides good coverage without being huge and hard to walk around with, folds up to a pretty compact size, and the handle is comfortable to hold. It's easy to get back into the slip it comes in, and I like the elastic cord that I can sling around my wrist while holding it. I'm really happy with it overall. I really want to highlight the outstanding customer service of TradMall. They stand behind their product, and care about customer satisfaction. I had this umbrella for over a year, and had used it quite a few times. It held up well in average rainy weather, until last week a sudden strong gust turned it inside out for the first time, and the material tore away from one of the ribs. These umbrellas have a lifetime warranty, so I emailed TradMall and told them what happened. I wasn't even sure they'd answer, but I had a reply within hours. The customer service person I spoke with (Tracy) was friendly and professional, and by the evening of the day I sent the email, they'd placed an order for a replacement umbrella, no questions asked.     • One never worked

I got two of these. One of them works fine so I assumed the other was fine but on the first rainy day I needed it the button couldn’t be pressed down and therefore could not open. That was after the return window so now I’m stuck with a broke umbrella. Since I know you just need to press the button I got a hammer out and tried to hit the button as hard as possible and it does work to open. And I then could press the button to do the auto-close but afterwards the button couldn’t be pressed again to open it. So I guess I need to keep the hammer close whenever I want to use the umbrella :/ It shouldn’t be broken before I ever use it. ... show more
