The carrying case is small enough to fit in the water bottle holder on my backpack, and it keeps the umbrella from getting everything wet after use. Plus it’s my favorite shade of purple. This umbrella does what it says, it really cuts the sun and heat temperature down, I even gave one as a gift. It is not the best quality so that is a problem..probably would not last long for everyday use. Fits nice in a purse..like the colors also..and it comes in 2 sizes

Spent a week in New Orleans Sept. 2024 and love love loved umbrella! Very very light to carry in my crossbody. Several rainstorms required umbrella! Very easy to auto pop open umbrella! No wind to speak of in French Quarter when I was there. I bought the lavender and like the black underside interior. Dryer very quick and easy to get back into the carry sock case and the hard case. I bought two of these umbrellas for emergency travel use for myself and my wife. When they arrived I opened them both. They both opened ok. They are not automatic. They are light weight and should be opened and closed with care, but they are what I was looking for - small, lightweight emergency umbrella to put in a pack or purse. I do not care for the zipper cases as they just add to the size and bulk, and will not be using them. There is a cloth cover which I was able to put back on the umbrellas. We have not used them in the wind or rain, so that verdict is out, but I would not use this umbrella for everyday, regular use. I did like the round knob handle on the bottom for gripping in lieu of a longer full handle to keep it small but graspable. For our specific use as compact emergency umbrellas, the price and size work for us, but there are probably sturdier and better made ones out there for a higher price point. ... show more

I bought three of these and boy waist of money. We haven’t even used it in the rain yet. Bought them to shield the little ones from the sun while walking home. Let me start by saying very flimsy upon opening I was already concerned on the walk there umbrellas turn inside out with very light wind,( so not windproof) the second time use one just collapse upon opening. Another one the handle is falling off. I do think the carrying case is cute and the size are perfect for my girls but the quality is terrible. Waste of money. ... show more

I honestly didn't have great hopes for the idea of a UV blocking umbrella. Boy was I wrong. I brought this to Disney. Walking around all day in the Florida summer sun can be brutal - especially at Epcot where there is so little shade. This umbrella brings the shade with you. Purchased for my daughter to take to college for its small, portable size. The fabric material is not thin, which is GREAT! Also the fabric coloring is vibrant. The boning doesn’t seem flimsy and I hope it holds up over time. The push button is thick and sturdy. The size is adequate for a travel/compact umbrella. Love the case it comes inside (BOTH of them).
