I bought three of these; one for home, one for the car, one for the office. Will not be caught out there without an umbrella like I once was when a nasty storm broke out and caught me unawares. So glad I picked this brand. I've had them for over a year now and they're all still as good as new. Through some windy and hard-pouring rains, they have held their own and have not broken to pieces, bent out of shape or lost their stability. I love the one-button action to open it. So cool when you only have one free hand to work with.

My umbrella seemed like it was defective - like it was put together wrong. It caved in on top and would have filled with water. I did not attempt to replace it because I was using it as a prop for a hotdog cart. It was fine for that.

Pros: • Fun violet color-my toddler is obsessed! • Comes with a quirky little moustache stick (cute bonus). • Feels sturdy and durable overall. Cons: • Nothing special in terms of performance-it’s your average umbrella. • Used it in heavy rain and still got pretty wet (only my head stayed dry). • Not easy for kids to open/close on their own. Overall, it’s okay for the price, but don’t expect miracles in bad weather. Great for light rain or just to brighten your day with color.
