I enjoyed reading this book about Carter carbs. While my interests are not high in terms of MOPAR the information in the book applies to the Edelbrock AFB I'm running on my old Chevrolet. The many circuits in the carb are well explained and I improved my understanding of the transfer slot. After reading the book I rebuilt my Edelbrock 1406 and I'm now enjoying improved performance in my Chevy. Thanks. ... show more

Most performance minded folks want Edelbrock carb information these days as Carter carbs have largely disappeared from the aftermarket scene. The title is misleading. While Carter and Edelbrock carbs have the same general history, they are not the same. The Edelbrock owner's manual does a better job
