  • TPOB XO’s Clippers
Color: Xo Clipper Slime Green
The media could not be loaded. At my shop the say I’m the clipper guru. You name it. I’ve tried em’ all… JRL’s SC-Rebels/Gamma Boosted Gamma Cyborgs Babyliss FX & LoPros Wahl Magics & Seniors SC Insticts (most expensive/ by far crappiest) The list goes on. For a while I was a sc-rebel guy until I got introduced to the jrl-onyx, which became my favorite. Powerful, smooth, excellent battery life & the rest of all the nice features. Onyx winning clippers of the year for 2023 was no surprise to me. However the TPOB XO’s didn’t release until very late 2023 & I didn’t get my hands on em’ until now. Wow! TPOB is on the come up! These XO’s cut very very similar to the jrl-onyx. Digital Brushless Constant Torque Motor (quite, smooth, yet very powerful). & since I’m comparing them & replacing my Jrl-Onyx for the XO’s it would be a crime if I didn’t say how much nicer they feel in hand! The best! For an all metal body housing they are not to heavy. I don’t necessarily need a feather, but I do prefer my clippers on the lighter side of the scale. The weight on the all metal body XO’s is almost exactly the same as the Onyx all plastic housing. I had to replace the bottom on my onyx housing/shell twice because I cracked it both times just from gripping it to hard. With the XO’s I know I will never have that problem. I’ll take a few extra grams in clipper weight to ensure the durability & longevity of my clippers. The XO also comes stock with the ridged style fade-blade just like the jrl-onyx & the sc-rebels. But it’s more similar to the onyx. When digging with no guard open or closed, it doesn’t catch into the pores of the skin like the sc-rebel does. Which is waaaay nicer & smooth. Simply better cutting technology. You can take down a big area to a .5 or a single-zero without having to tip toe through the tulips to avoid catching into the pores of someone’s skin & causing discomfort, irritation or even nicking them. No guard fully open. The XO has a solid OEM stretch to it. No need for modification/removal of clicks to add a stretch bracket. Also the “clicks” are designed internally like the JRL’s. Again. I keep referring to jrl-onyx. Because to me they were my best until I got these XO’s. No guard, fully open the JRL’s open slightly further. The smallest hair of a stretch more. But if you’re not experienced enough with a keen eye to know what to look for. You will not even notice the difference. & honestly after doing a few cuts with them, even knowing fully open the XO’s are the tiniest hair shorter, it did not affect my cutting style. Didn’t have to make any adjustments to my techniques & methods. Cuts felt just as good if not BETTER! I was still able to skip-guard my half-guard, preform & execute like I normally do. Excellent top tier clipper! I would buy a 2nd one if they weren’t sold out everywhere. Definitely my new go-to. & not to mention the highly anticipated TPOB-Play!!! Man… I’m 100% gonna have to get my paws on them bad boys the second they drop! I’m convinced! Ima TPOB guy now. This guy is on to something big. ... show more

  • Powerful, precise, and quiet
Color: Xo Clipper Black
I am not a professional barber, but I have been cutting my hair for the last 27 years. I've used Wahl and Oster as my primary brands in the past. I've wanted to replace my Oster fast feeds for the last 5 years, but since they worked fine, I couldn't bring myself to upgrade. Well, my Oster trimmers finally went bad so I decided it was finally time for the upgrade. After weighing the reviews of all the major brands I came across these and decided to give them a shot. Well, I can't tell you how happy I am that I did. These clippers are amazing! They are easy to maneuver, cut through my thick hair like butter, and are extremely precise. So precise that I've had to relearn how to cut my hair which I've been doing for decades. That is not a complaint though these things are awesome. I tend to spend a lot of time overseas too, so having the ability to charge easily whether I'm using 110v or 240v has made life much easier. The guards that come with the clippers are great too, no need to upgrade to a third party like I've had to do in the past. Buy these clippers and you will not regret your purchase!!! ... show more

  • Defective item?
Color: Xo Clipper Slime Green
I love the clipper, strong motor and quiet. User manual states it takes approx 2 hours to fully charge on the dock. It’s taking 6+ hours to fully charge. Idk what’s going on. Maybe the item is defective? Planning on replacing it with a new one to see if the are any changes. Will update at later time. Update: looks like if your clippers are taking more than 2 hours to charge on the dock, it’s prolly defective. The replacement one fixed the issue. I’ll still leave 4 stars for the inconvenience. Otherwise I still think it’s a great clipper at the price point. Will Also purchased the trimmer as well. ... show more

  • Wow, amazing, don't settle on a cheap trimmer!
Color: Xo Trimmer Slime Green
Wow, this trimmer is amazing. I've been using cheaper models and severely, and I mean severely, suffering from poor cutting (compared to this thing). You might be somewhat satisfied driving around a cheap go cart, though there is the bumpy ride, unimpressive 0-60, and they're not generally comfortable, but if you never drove a high quality car you would never know what you are missing. Reminds me of when I traded my Walmart and Target cooking knives in for quality Japanese chef knives, dang, I whish it were a trade-in, the knives are expensive as hell but worth it, felt like I was leaving the stone age. Anyhow, this TPOB thing cuts crisp and clear, no pulling, no pain, and tight spots are cut precisely. Clean, sharp lines, painless. Get this. Don't settle. Support the "sell no crap" movement. Buy and rate this yourself. And I gave the battery life a 5 without even testing that because I don't care much, I'm sure that battery life is not defective. The thing excels at what I need most, a great cut, simple, but not so apparently for the cheapo brands that I've tried. You are paying for quality here. ... show more

  • Overpriced and under achieving....
Color: Xo Clipper Black
I purchased this product April 2024. The battery life seemed to be fair and I rarely used it so I only need to charge it 4-5 times. The last time I attempted to charge the device I used the base, Cord and USB adapter that came with it. The device started blinking green like it was charging......and never stopped. The battery stopped holding a charge as the light kept blinking even though it was not plugged in to charge and eventually just stopped doing anything at all. Honestly it didn't cut any better than some of the cheapest Wahl clippers I have had and made way more noise. The main difference is that the Wahl clippers lasted for so many years I simply wanted something new, these clippers are just an over priced gimmick......save your money and find another product. ... show more
