  • Works well when used precisely.
this worked well for my 2016 Chevy Silverado. As others have said you need to put the end of the tool right against the tire side wall just above the rim inline with the valve stem. For my truck (1500, ext. cab, LTZ) you have to go to the TPM screen and press and hold the check mark button on the steering wheel to enter the relearn mode. Then go tire to tire starting at drivers side front, then passenger side front, passengers side rear and then drivers side rear. You should hear a single horn beep when each sensor is taught and a double on the last one if it completes. ... show more

  • Worked great on my 2020 GMC Sierra1500 X31
Wasn’t sure if this would work since the model years/types didn’t list my truck. Turns out it was fine. I normally rotate my own tires at home and was unaware of this new cosmic system and the tool that was needed. My wife has a 2014 Audi A6 with TPMS but that system does not report individual tire pressures so a tool is not needed NOTE: The owner manual for the 1500 and RELEARN MODE is wrong. To get in relearn mode, you have to START the truck then select the tire pressure display while on the INFO display, then use the right rotary selection knob to see the tire pressures. Once there, PRESS and HOLD the right rotary knob until the horn beeps twice and the display says LEARNING MODE. I suggest you turn off the headlights so that you can see the turn signal lamps cycle has you read each tire pressure. Once in learning mode, you will see the left front turn signal illuminated reinforcing that the left front tire should be read. EMPHASIS ITEM: point the antenna knob on top of the unit right at the sidewall at the valve stem. The included instructions give pictures of how to and how not to point the unit, so look at them because they are important. The instructions are correct for this truck, except for the difference to get into learning mode Once the pressure is read, the horn beeps and the right front turn lamp illuminates to indicate that’s the next tire. Repeat what you did on the left front. Each time the pressure is read, the horn beeps and the turn lamp for the next tire illuminates. If you press the read button on the unit and the flashing transmit light goes out without a horn beep, the tire pressure was not correctly read/transmitted. Reposition the reading unit slightly making sure it’s pointed correctly. Repeat this as necessary until the horn beeps and the next tail light illuminates If learning mode times out before you get all the pressures read, the tail light that was illuminated will go out without any horn beeps. You will have to start over. You’ll probably see the pressures for all of the tires dashed out with a TPMS MAINTENANCE REQUIRED if the relearn was successful on some of the tires before the mode timed out. Not an issue- when you do all 4 tires correctly, that will be fixed After successfully reading all tires, the car beeps twice to let you know you’re done Good luck. Good purchase ... show more

  • Be patient
Kinda tricky to get to work, but does what it’s supposed when it does

  • Does what it's supposed to do, cheaper than taking it to a shop!
Looking at some past reviews about the polarity of the batteries that problem seems to have been solved by the manufacturer, it is now clearly marked. Was able to program the TPMS in my 2015 Suburban in about a minute, nice addition to my tool assortment.

  • TPMS Relearn Tool - Worked on 2020 Silverado 2500HD
I've read some reviews that their TPMS Relearn Tool didn't work right out of the box. I can say that the markings for battery installation are a bit lacking, but if you look closely at the circuit card within the battery compartment, you can see a small + and - visible. Just line up the 9V battery terminals to correspond with the markings. The photos illustrate how you can miss the + and -. After I put the battery in place with proper polarity, the TPMS Relearn Tool worked perfectly. I had rotated my tires, and relearned the tire positions in less than a minute. We'll see about product longevity, but since I'll likely only use it a few times a year, it should last a while. Honestly though, with the bargain price, it paid for itself in this first use. Most tire centers charge at least $5/tire to relearn TPMS position. Add that to the time saved, and this is a WINNER! ... show more
