The VENU-i is an excellent service tool to check tire pressure sensors and replace and reprogram new sensors to fix tire lights. I have used multiple other TPMS tire tools and this one is super simple. It uses Bluetooth and my phone as the main screen. The VENU-i gets up and ready fast because the Bluetooth sync on this is super fast. The selection menu for the vehicle shows tons of compatibility, so far I've checked Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Ford and Chevy sensors and they all read really well. The tool was accurate about which sensor I was testing and works best if I put the stem through the black loop on the end and then it pulls just that sensors information. I was happy to see it provided everything too it has pressure in kpa or psi temp in C⁰ or F⁰ and tells me the battery state so if I have a sensor with a weak battery I'm not left guessing. This tool does everything I need it reads, programs and even has a tab with the written instructions in case I don't know the next step. Since this tool cost me around 1/4 of the price of my Autel that does the same things I wish I had found the VENU-i first it's really good for the cost. The VENU-i is versatile in that it can read, program and give sensor status and when I programmed a sensor it worked flawlessly with my car first time. It's not hard to recommend a tool that does this much for this price.

works great in our workshop. scanning TPMS sensors to diagnose battery life in the sensor, the current frequency set, rewrite the sensor if necessary then program to the OBD II port with the K8 Pro. Great module for your Kingbolen K8 Pro or THINKCAR scanner.

Well, it looks nice. Upgraded firmware without a problem. However, it only read two out of eight functioning tpms sensors, so that's a huge miss. The U.S. office of Thinkcar will not communicate with you if you made your purchase on Amazon. So there's that. To add insult to injury, an email to Thinkcar directly, as well as through their website has generated no response whatsoever. A total waste of my time. It's going back.

I have had several TPMS tools. This one is really good. It's my favorite go-to now you can install an app on your phone from Thinkcar and basically once you bind it to your phone or any of the Think car or Kingbolen scan tools, you have a professional tool in your hand. This tool will do nearly all cars on the market. It feels great in the hand. Very comfortable to hold. It's a perfect size, easy to read, very legible and I really really like the software. I like the app. I liked the way it displays the vehicle and the tires that are read. The green LED comes on showing you the specs, the tire including temperature, pressure, etc. The relearn is quick. It reads the actual sensors fast, and it's a very affordable tool for what it does. I'd say it's definitely professional, excellent add-on to any of the scan tools you can purchase through Think car or Kingbolen or you can install it on your phone and use it. It's so portable rechargeable battery last quite a while. I've just purchased it a while back and I've used it quite a few times and no problems whatsoever. The customer service is really good. They respond to any questions you may have very quick. Don't be afraid to purchase this one. I was kind of concerned because I hadn't heard of the brand but it is perfect tool with great customer service and supp ort! Very happy and satisfied will be used in my fleet maintenance shop often as well as at home great for any do it yourself person also!!

This review is for the ThinkTPMS G2 Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) tool. I purchased this device to use in conjunction with a ThinkTool Pro. The unit came with no directions and I could not find any online. Thus, I had no clue how to pair the ThinkTPMS tool with the ThinkTool Pro. After about fifteen minutes of tinkering with it I figured it out. To pair this TMPS tool you need to turn it on by holding the On button for a few seconds and it will boot up (may need to charge the unit first). The ThinkTool Pro also has to be on. Afterwards, select the TPMS icon on the ThinkTool Pro. Another screens opens with a rectangle box containing two buttons, titled Cancel and Scanning. At first I just waited for the Scanning button to go away or for the screen switch to another screen showing the TPMS tool was found. However, nothing changed other than some numbers and texting showing up above the two buttons. I then looked at the back of the TMPS tool and saw the serial number, which was the number on the screen. There was nothing on the screen showing how to progress. So I just touched the serial number on the screen; then the ThinkTool Pro changed to the TPMS screen. Afterwards, I had to select the correct frequency for my vehicle, which I had to find on the internet. Then the screen gives some directions on how to use the up/down buttons on the TPMS tool to select the correct tire. Holding the TPMS tool up against the sidewall of the tire below the stem was able to read the sensors without a problem. The ThinkTool Pro captured the status of the TPMS sensors for all four wheels and indicated each of the batteries were good. The tires were also reprogrammed to their current position on the vehicle. Note: Before I started this process I had put my car in the service mode and the TPMS in the learn mode. These directions were found in vehicles owner's manual. My suggestion to manufacturer and or the resellers is to include pairing directions or provide a link where to find them. Also, tutorial videos would be helpful.

You can read TPMS sensors with this device and your phone, although not all sensors may work. You can program TPMS sensors, if they're ThinkCar branded. What you can't easily do is reprogram your car's TPMS module to use different TPMS sensors, such as when swapping winter and summer tires. The THINKTPMS G2 doesn't have the vehicle interface to permit that. While ThinkCar advertises that some of its more expensive diag tools will pair with the THINKTPMS G2 to allow this, the capability doesn't seem to exist for the popular THINKDIAG diag tool, which also uses the same app on your phone as an interface. The Think app doesn't let you use both tools. If you have a THINKDIAG, the best you can do is use the THINKTPMS G2 to read TPMS sensor IDs, write them down, and then manually re-enter them via service functions in THINKDIAG mode. (Plus the THINKDIAG interface may not tell you which parameter goes with which wheel position, meaning you have to read IDs from the tires being removed first so you can figure out which code goes where.) This could be a very handy tool, if it was properly integrated with the THINKDIAG. As it is, it's annoyingly close to being handy instead of frustrating.
