If you're wondering if you need the TP150 TPMS Programming Tool AND an OBD2 Scanner the answer is yes! With this tool you can read each TPMS Sensor and easily update your vehicles system via the OBD2 connection. I own the XTOOL D7 OBD2 Scanner but it does not include this functionality. I find that often my local service shop does not update the TPMS when the tires are rotated, this way I can save a trip and do it myself. (Yes, I know I could go back and have them do it but that takes time.) The tool is easy to use, and quickly finds each sensor.

Works on Subaru ascent Like a charm and also easily read Chevrolets. Make sure to update the system you moment you get it. Took around an hour to fully update. Worth it and pays for itself on the first program.

I got this tool to service my 2020 Aviator. The tool enclosure is robust and well made. The user interface on the screen is a little confusing at first, but easy enough to learn and use. It worked well on my Lincoln and the tool can program 315MHz and 433MHz sensors. I ordered a proprietary Xtool sensor to use as a replacement to one of my OEM sensors. The TS-100 sensor came defective, so the tool could not communicate with it. I contacted their tech support via email and they were responsive and helped me figure out the issue. The only problem with their technical support is that you send an email and 24 hours later you get a response, so if you have several emails back and forth you will lose several days.

Can only setup xtool sensors. After a sensor is activated it can read any sensor. The description does not specify this. I wish I would have known this before.
