Great device, easy to setup and use, just make sure to update to the latest version, easy to do just connect to wifi and update, very accurate and useful results, I have used it on several vehicles fton BMW, MINI COOPER, Chevrolet, Buick and every time works perfect. Nice tool, good product support.
I got this tool to service my 2020 Aviator. The tool enclosure is robust and well made. The user interface on the screen is a little confusing at first, but easy enough to learn and use. It worked well on my Lincoln and the tool can program 315MHz and 433MHz sensors. I ordered a proprietary Xtool sensor to use as a replacement to one of my OEM sensors. The TS-100 sensor came defective, so the tool could not communicate with it. I contacted their tech support via email and they were responsive and helped me figure out the issue. The only problem with their technical support is that you send an email and 24 hours later you get a response, so if you have several emails back and forth you will lose several days. ... show more

I purchased this as I needed to replace a TPMS sensor in my 2018 Subaru Outback. I had already purchased a complete set of replacement sensors for the car but needed to read the sensor IDs and then write them to the car's computer. The car was reporting that all 4 tires had low batteries which I found hard to believe that they all went out at the same time. The TP150 allowed me to read the factory sensors and see their individual power status. 3 of the sensors showed OK for power and the 4th wouldn't even register with the tool so I started with that wheel. I popped the bead on the tire and replaced the sensor that was bad. Once I had the tire back on the vehicle I fired up the TP150. It walked me through the proper order of which tire to read based on the image of a car on the screen. Once I had read all 4 sensors, the TP150 walked me through connecting to the OBDII port and write the new sensor IDs to the car. I was also able to read any codes that were still active in the cars computer, and luckily they were gone. The unit included a USB C charging cable, power brick, OBD II cable, and detailed instructions. The tool can be set to display pressure in multiple units and the temperature in imperial or metric. There is also support for auto power-off. The list of supported vehicles is extensive. The are broken down by American, Asian, and European and then alphabetical order making it easy to locate your make and model. The instructions do tell you to update your unit when you receive it and there is Windows software from their website that allows you to do this quickly. I decided to do the update over wifi from the unit itself since I didn't have a Windows device readily available. This is a slow process that takes at least an hour. Unfortunately , I left the unit unattended and the battery died before finishing the update which bricked the unit. I contacted XTool support and they responded within a few hours on how to resurrect the device. I found a WIndows computer, formatted the TP150 as fat32, and ran the update utility from their website which loaded the newest software. I'm looking forward to trying the programmable XTool TPMS sensors the next time I need to replace a sensor on our other vehicles. ... show more

Punching above its price point and competitors
Auto tech 2 thumbs up without question. Its one of those tools when you see the price, and then look at its competitors offerings that are 100 dollars more or sometimes twice the price and you think, ok whats the catch what are those tools capable of that this tool isn't? And thats what makes this a tool that punches so above its price point in that every vehicle I've used it with I've been able to ping and correct any TPMS issue. In fact I was using an Ahh-tell and was on a '10 Forester and connected and pinged just fine but chose a wrong option and needed to start over from the beginning. But then I couldn't get the tool do work at all on that vehicle and I tried everything. To this day I still cannot explain what the issue was of it working once, but then not any attempt after. I wanted a TPMS tool for myself for outside of the shop, and being familiar with xtool and their D8 being the first scan tool not just a code reader I purchased (that even with an expired subscription can do things my most recent scan tool that was multiple of thousands of dollars with j2534 pass thru, etc cannot do) after much research and deliberation I went with this tool and couldn't be happier. If you're in a shop you already know this, and if not and you haven't found out the hard way yet- there isn't just a one and done scan tool that can do everything unfortunately. But as far as TPMS goes, this might be the only one you'll need ... show more

I have a 2010 Lexus ES350 which I dearly love. Costco offered to new TPMS sensors when I installed tires recently. After the installation, the tire pressure light would not go off despite tires inflated to correct tire pressure. Costco refused to fix the tire pressure warning light. Auto repair shop wanted $300 to diagnose and repair. I checked on Amazon to see if I could fix this issue myself. There were several tools, but XTOOL offered the most TPMS functionalities covering several cars at a very attractive price. My other car is Nissan. Prior to purchase, I reached out to XTOOL with my car VIN number to verify if their TPMS tool is compatible with my car and their friendly representative confirmed it as compatible within 24 hours. As soon as I received, I was able to register the sensors in my car, but had difficulties in figuring out programming. Again, XTOOL rep was helpful in promptly connecting me to their tech support in resolving my challenges. I was able to diagnose the issue that Costco tech failed to address and "relearn" functions and remove the blinking tire pressure light from the car dashboard. This is a huge sense of relief for me. Now, i can take advantage of the Costco tire rotation without having to muddle through them to solve the tire pressure light. I have what i need. The tool has a generous screen size built with high quality durable material in a beautiful modern outer shell. The navigation is intuitive and easy. All in all, I am happy that i purchased a high quality tool that will be useful for many years to come at a very reasonable price. ... show more
